Hard drive manufacturing giant Seagate Technologies has expanded and re-branded its new product line as The Guardian Series. The HDDs which were earlier sold under the name of Barracuda, is now back with its friends, IronWolf and SkyHawk, with all the three meant for different kinds of drive usage. The new products are represented with interesting portfolios to bring out the idea of progressive technology ... Barracuda ... Iron Wolf ... Skyhawk ... ....

Goldman Sachs sees Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ. MRVL) as a potential M&A candidate, as a turnaround looks tough. Revenue Growth Potential ... But, the brokerage feels doing all three would be difficult. Marvell receives over 50 percent of its revenue from declining or matured markets such as HDDs (40 percent of revenue), printers (2–5 percent) and enterprise campus switching (10+ percent).
