Christopher Michael "Chris" Benoit (French pronunciation: [bəˈnwa]; May 21, 1967 – June 24, 2007) was a Canadian professional wrestler and murderer. During his 22-year career, Benoit worked for numerous major promotions including Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE). Benoit committed suicide after perpetrating the murder of his family.
In professional wrestling, Benoit was a two-time world champion, having been a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time World Heavyweight Champion in WWE; he was booked to win a third world championship at a WWE event on the night of his death. Benoit was the twelfth WWE Triple Crown Champion and sixth WCW Triple Crown Champion, and the second of five men in history to achieve both the WWE and WCW Triple Crown Championships. He was also the 2004 Royal Rumble winner, joining Shawn Michaels as the only men to win a Royal Rumble as the number one entrant.
Terry Michael Brunk (born December 12, 1964) is an American professional wrestler, known by his ring name Sabu, who portrays an Arab American in the ring. He is well known for his extreme wrestling style. Brunk has most notably competed in Extreme Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment's ECW brand. He is currently the X-LAW International Champion and is employed by Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Brunk is a two-time world heavyweight champion, having held the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once.
Brunk was trained by his uncle, Ed Farhat (The Sheik), and was initially trained to be a technical wrestler. He began his wrestling career in 1985 in the Sheik's promotion, Big Time Wrestling, and was billed as being from Saudi Arabia under the ring name "Sabu the Elephant Boy" (use of "The Elephant Boy" was dropped in his later days), as well as Terry S.R (the S.R. standing for Sheik's Revenge). During the 1980s he wrestled for various independent promotions in Memphis, Michigan, Ohio, Canada and Hawaii. He was not billed as Terry Brunk, since it may have caused people to confuse him with Terry Funk.
Sabu may refer to:
Jonathan Rechner (born April 11, 1972) better known by his ring name Balls Mahoney, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently working for World Wrestling Alliance and for American Independent promotions. Mahoney is perhaps best known for his appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling during the late 1990s and early 2000s where he was three time holder of ECW Tag Team Championship, as well as working for World Wrestling Entertainment wrestling on its ECW brand.
Jon Rechner trained at the Monster Factory and debuted in 1987, at age 15, as Abbudah Singh.
He made a small name for himself as the villainous Boo Bradley Jr. (a take-off of the character Boo Radley from To Kill a Mockingbird) in 1994 in Smoky Mountain Wrestling (SMW) where he had a long rivalry with his kayfabe childhood friend, Chris Candido. He was originally allied with Candido and managed by Tammy Sytch, who abused him for months, but they eventually turned on him, killing his pet cat, and turning him into a fan favorite in the process. During this time, Bradley won the SMW Beat the Champ Television Championship twice. He briefly formed a team with Cactus Jack who convinced him to be his own person.
Terrence "Terry" Funk (born June 30, 1944) is a retired American professional wrestler and former actor, known chiefly for the hardcore wrestling style he adopted in the latter part of his career that inspired many younger wrestlers, including Mick Foley. He worked for at least 63 promotions around the world over his 50-year career, including all major American and Japanese promotions.
In major promotions, Funk is a three-time World Champion, having held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once and ECW World Heavyweight Championship twice. He has been inducted into the WWE, WCW, Professional Wrestling, NWA, Hardcore, Wrestling Observer, and St. Louis Wrestling Halls of Fame.
Funk was a primary subject of the documentary film Beyond the Mat, and is often noted for the longevity of his career, which has included multiple "retirement" matches.

RIP Balls. You want to see what the hardcore style of ECW Wrestling leads to? Look no further than the chair-swinging freak Balls Mahoney! In this candid and very personal interview, you will hear and see why wrestlers have dependency issues when it comes to drugs and pain killers...especially guys that were infamous for their hardcore wrestling style. Sabu (Terry Brunk) exposes Paul Heyman. interview by LockUP (LockUPWrestling, Robert Shade and Nick Mason) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MOXqLdCPew Paul Heyman lied to his wrestlers and rarely paid them and still owes tons of wrestlers thousands of dollars and mistreated a lot of them, guys like Sabu or Mike Awesome (Michael Alfonso), two of the best, most underrated and most underappreciated wrestlers of all time, they deserve way more credit and appreciation.
Thomas Couch talks about RVD and Sabu (Terry Brunk). interview by Robert Szatkowski (RVD / Rob Van Dam) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgLgCDjva7U Sabu and RVD are two of the best and most innovative pro wrestlers of all time, both have two of the most amazing movesets in wrestling history and deserve way more appreciation and credit, same for Tommy Rogers, who also, like unfortunately so many pro wrestlers, died way too young.
Christopher Benoit talks about his nicknames and his finisher the 'Crippler Crossface' interview by Galaxy The reason they called him The Crippler is because he broke the neck of Sabu (Terry Brunk) and his shoulder as well just a few weeks later, which got Sabu addicted to painkillers. Sabu deservers way more appreciation and respect for what happened to his body, he's easily one of the thoughest, most innovative and best performers in wrestling history. And don't judge Benoit for that, those things were freak accidents and happened and happen to all kinds of wrestlers, it's wrestling and often accidents sadly happen, especially with the extreme and risky style Sabu and Benoit wrestled. Chris Benoit was one of the absolute best and most respected wrestlers in the business and for good reas...
Christopher Benoit talks about Eduardo Gory Guerrero Llanes. interview by Off the Record (Michael Landsberg, TSN) Eddie Guerrero is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, he's one of the best in the ring and on the mic ever, had a lot of charisma and was extremely muscular, he deserves way more appreciation and credit, he's the total package.

Christopher Benoit talks about Nuufolau Joel Seanoa. interview by WrestleCast (Joel Ross and Simon Lilsboy) Samoa Joe is awesome but in his first WWE match he sadly heavily injured and basically ended the career of Tyson Kidd (Theodore James "T.J." Wilson), someone who deserves way better anyway for being one of the best and most underrated wrestlers ever and active for so many years, by ruining his neck and giving him a spinal cord injury he could have died from. It was an accident and Joe is a professional but it shouldn't have happened. Tyson Kidd should get way more success, respect and appreciation for his massive amount of talent and for what he put his body through, he's a true warrior. Chris Benoit warned us about murdering his family, wife, son
Christopher Benoit talks about people who start wrestling just because of money or their looks. interview by WrestleCast (Joel Ross and Simon Lilsboy) And it's not only the in-ring performance, a lot of the wrestlers really should work out more, look at Benoit, he wasn't just arguably the best technical wrestler ever but also extremely muscular and athletic and incredibly underrated on the mic, but still, wrestlers deserve respect regardless. And by the way, Linda Miles is one of the girls who won Tough Enough, maybe someone else should have won it instead, for example the incredibly athletic, tall and muscular Jake Sokoloff who could have been a huge star or Matthew Morgan who had to stop during the season due to an injury, WWE completely wasted him anyway.
