Police have issued a description of a man who indecently exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl in a Falkirk village.

Officers said the girl was left "very shaken" following the incident in Carronshore on 7 October at about 15:45.

The man approached the girl and exposed himself on a path near the bus stop in Main Street.

He was described as being between 50 and 60-years-old.

Police said the suspect was tall, with a large build and prominent stomach, greying hair, clean shaven, and had a Scottish accent.

He was wearing a blue and white checked shirt, light blue baggy jeans and brown ankle-length boots.

Det Sgt Michael Lynch said: "This was a distressing experience for the young girl who, although physically unharmed, was understandably very shaken.

"I would urge anyone who recognises this man's description, or has any information which may be able to help, to come forward as soon as possible."
