Province House (Prince Edward Island)
Province House is where the Prince Edward Island Legislature, known as the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island, has met since 1847. The building is located at the intersection of Richmond and Great George Streets in Charlottetown; it is Canada's second-oldest seat of government.
History
The cornerstone was laid in May 1843 and it commenced operation for the first time in January 1847. The entire structure was built for a cost of £10,000 and was designed by Isaac Smith. Smith was a self-trained architect from Yorkshire, who also designed the residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island. It was built by Island craftsmen during a time of prosperity for the colony. Its architectural lines include Greek and Roman influences, common to public buildings in North America built during this era.
From September 1–7, 1864, Province House had an important role in helping Prince Edward Island host the Charlottetown Conference which resulted in Canadian Confederation.

Province
A province is almost always an administrative division, within a country or state. The term derives from the ancient Roman provincia, which was the major territorial and administrative unit of the Roman Empire's territorial possessions outside Italy. The term is now used in many countries.
In many countries with no actual provinces, "the provinces" or "the province" means outside the capital city.
Etymology
The English word "province" is attested since about 1330 and derives from the 13th-century Old French "province", which itself comes from the Latin word "provincia", which referred to the sphere of authority of a magistrate; in particular, to a foreign territory.
A popular etymology is from Latin"pro-" ("on behalf of") and "vincere" ("to triumph" or "to take control of"). Thus a "province" would a territory or function that a Roman magistrate held control of on behalf of his government. In fact, the word Province is an ancient term from public law, which means: "office belonging to a magistrate". This agrees with the Latin term's earlier usage as a generic term for a jurisdiction under Roman law.

plates to close the top from roof = 560php
coconut wood 1tree=300php x 7 = 2.100php for cutting the wood = 4.000php
to bring the wood out off the bush = 1.200php
salary for 16 days for 5 employees = 17.000php
tiyoy peal(i dont remember what it is) = 900php plastic pipe for toilet and shower = 748php playwood i gues it were 2 plates = 960php mosquito screen = 1.000php materials for electric = 9.395php
things to make the door (lock, doorknob...) = 640php
full lpg tank ,hose,hose clips,regulator = 560php but first time u have to pay 700php more for the tank itself

Smallest Province
Located in the east, Prince Edward Island is one of three Maritime provinces in Canada. It is country’s smallest province in terms of population, with just over 140 thousand inhabitants, and with respect to area, at just over two thousand square miles.
Climate
With a comfortable spring, warm summer, cool fall and crisp winter, PEI experiences four different seasons.
Charlottetown
Known as the Birthplace of Confederation, the capital city of Charlottetown is found on a harbor. Here you’ll find the Province House, which is the meeting place of PEI’s Legislative Assembly.
Beaches
As it is surrounded by sand, the island is home to Canada’s warmest beaches. Popular spots include Basin Head and Brackley Beach. Be sure to observe the sandy dunes at Cavendish or go camping at Panmure Island.
Golfing
The Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort offers both a lakeside beach and one of the island’s best golf courses. In fact, PEI is Canada’s number one golfing destination: try your skills on the champion courses at the Rodd Brudenell River Resort to see for yourself!
Culture
When it comes to art and culture, Prince Edward Island is famous for being the birthplace of Lucy Maud Montgomery. The “Anne of Green Gables” author was inspired by the beautiful agricultural lands of the Green Gables farm in Cavendish, and today the Green Gables farmhouse is considered a National Historic Site.
Art
If you’re interested creating some art of your own, there are many pottery classes and studios in PEI where you can learn the craft.
Lighthouses
The province is also well-known for its lighthouses, such as Point Prim and Panmure Head, and these were vital for early settlers traveling to the area by sea.

Smallest Province
Located in the east, Prince Edward Island is one of three Maritime provinces in Canada. It is country’s smallest province in terms of population, with just over 140 thousand inhabitants, and with respect to area, at just over two thousand square miles.
Climate
With a comfortable spring, warm summer, cool fall and crisp winter, PEI experiences four different seasons.
Charlottetown
Known as the Birthplace of Confederation, the capital city of Charlottetown is found on a harbor. Here you’ll find the Province House, which is the meeting place of PEI’s Legislative Assembly.
Beaches
As it is surrounded by sand, the island is home to Canada’s warmest beaches. Popular spots include Basin Head and Brackley Beach. Be sure to observe the sandy dunes at Cavendish or go camping at Panmure Island.
Golfing

The Maritimes, also called the Maritime provinces or the Canadian Maritimes, is a region of Eastern Canada consisting of three provinces: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. The Maritimes had a population of 1,813,606 in 2016.
The Maritimes, along with a fourth province – Canada's easternmost province, Newfoundland and Labrador – make up Atlantic Canada.
Located along the Atlantic coast, various aquatic sub-basins are located in the Maritimes, such as the Gulf of Maine and Gulf of St. Lawrence. The region is located northeast of New England, southeast of Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula, and southwest of the island of Newfoundland. All three provinces are entirely south of the southernmost extremity of Western Canada, and are the only provinces of Canada without large and sparsely populated northern regions.
The notion of a Maritime Union has been proposed at various times in Canada's history; the first discussions in 1864 at the Charlottetown Conference contributed to Canadian Confederation which instead formed the larger Dominion of Canada.
New Brunswick

New Brunswick is one of the Atlantic Provinces of Canada, and the only constitutionally bilingual province in the country. The provincial capital is Fredericton. Statistics Canada estimates the provincial population in 2008 to be 751,527; a majority are English-speaking, but there is also a large Francophone minority (32%), chiefly of Acadian origin.
The province's name comes from the English and French translation for the city of Braunschweig in Lower Saxony, northern Germany, the ancestral home of the Hanoverian King George III of the United Kingdom.
New Brunswick is a relatively sparsely populated province, with considerable forests forming the main body. The core of the province is virtually uninhabited, with the population very focused in the Western part of the province as well as the Eastern and Southern coastlines.

Fundy National Park. Near the village of Alma, Fundy National Park is 207 square kilometres of fundy coast and inland forest. The park has multiple campgrounds which include wilderness and more comfortable ones. There are over twenty waterfalls in Fundy National Park.
Reversing Falls. A one of a kind adventure where the flow of the Saint John River reverses when the Bay of Fundy is at high tide!
Hopewell Rocks. A group of Flowerpot rocks located in the community of Hopewell Cape.

Roosevelt Campobello International Park. Former U.S president Franklin D. Roosevelts summer retreat from 1921-1936. Located on the southern portion of Campobello island, this was also the island where Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr. was born.
Mount Carleton. A remote mountain (highest in maritimes) perfect for wilderness lovers

The lighthouse is a post office, there is a restaurant and tourist information but otherwise it is just big rocks with a dozen small house and 60 people living there. Outside Peggys Cove on the 333 there are plenty of B&B;'s and restaurants.
