Fronted by the journeyman jam guitarist Michael Morrow, the band explores a vast and classic songbook, showcasing versatile and fierce musicianship, and renowned signature vocals...uncanny, haunting and unmatched. Alongside Michael are veteran Grateful bassist Jeff Wandling (Alligator, Bear's Choice, VW Project, Dead Bolt, Groove Train Riders), piano man Matt Hahn (VW Project, Third Orbit), talented vocalists Autumn Walden and Marci Segal bringing the sweet harmonies, and drummers Stephe Ferraro (Boris Garcia) and Marvin Kay (Steal Your Face). Voted RELIX magazine 2009 Jam Off contest winner and recently on the short list for spots with Jerry Garcia Band and Dark Star Orchestra, bandleader Michael Morrow has consistently put smiles on Deadheads for years. After hearing a 2009 live recording, placing a personal call and flying Michael out to St. Louis for an audition, JGB bandleader Melvin Seals said "... it sounded so good.The voice and playing really took me back." In 2005, Dark Star Orchestra called Michael "...the finest singer we auditioned...blown away." DSO auditioned Morrow at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, where he jammed with John Kadlecik (Furthur) and Rob Barraco. Morrow has been called "One of the finest GD musicians in the country..." Organist John Bigham (Chubby Checker, Funk Church) said "Nobody does Jerry's vocals better...best guy around." Michael was also voted Top Ten "Best Of The Fest " while with Mystic Rebel at the 2006 Bethlehem Musikfest, where a reviewer said "...the vocals were Dead on." Reading, PA area jam promoter Chris Kratz of Plusvibes called Michael "...one of my favorite guitarists." Over the years, Morrow has performed with the Bob Weir, Donna Jean Godchaux-McKay, Merl Saunders, David Grisman, Junior Marvin, Dave Matthews Band, Ben Harper, Derek Trucks, Joan Osbourne, Warren Haynes, Peter Himmelman, David Gans, Tom Constantin, Zen Tricksters, Kingfish, Toni Brown, Marshall Tucker Band, Leon Russell, Splintered Sunlight and Living Earth.
