Robert Fitzgerald Diggs (born July 5, 1969), better known by his stage name RZA (/ˈrɪzə/ RIZ-ə), is an American music producer, multi-instrumentalist, author, rapper, actor, composer, and filmmaker. A prominent figure in hip hop, RZA is the de facto leader of the Wu-Tang Clan. He has produced almost all of Wu-Tang Clan's albums as well as many Wu-Tang solo and affiliate projects. He is a cousin of the late group-mate, Ol' Dirty Bastard and GZA (who also formed the group with RZA). He has also released solo albums under the alter-ego Bobby Digital, along with executive producing credits for side projects.
In addition to the Wu-Tang Clan and his solo releases, RZA was also a founding member of the horrorcore Hip Hop group Gravediggaz where he used the name The RZArector. Furthermore, he has acted in several movies, including Coffee and Cigarettes, American Gangster, Gospel Hill, Life Is Hot in Cracktown, Ghost Dog, Funny People, Derailed, Due Date and Repo Men. He also appeared in the Showtime TV series Californication. His directorial debut is for the film he co-wrote and in which he plays the title role, The Man with the Iron Fists, also starring Russell Crowe. On November 1, 2012, he introduced the movie at a preview screening in the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens, the evening before the Universal picture opened nationwide.

Fariz's relations with his new neighbors are strained by his accusations that it was people like them who failed to support the Azeris in their conflict with ethnic Armenians. The only one who stands up to him is Alik, who acts as peacemaker between him and the older inhabitants of the building. Alik has no reservations about brandishing his gun in order to keep the peace. One day, the apartment managers want to evict a number of musicians who have been squatting in the basement. Alik gets involved, but soon discovers the situation is more complicated that he first believed.

RZA - You Can't Stop Me Now from the album Digi Snacks [2008]
Wu-Tang Clan sensei RZA and Interpol frontman Paul Banks have been making music together since 2011, but they haven't really tested the bonds of their relationship until now, when Banks dragged RZA into the Hot Ones studio without telling him what was in store. Of course, the Abbot has plenty of Shaolin powers to draw upon while facing down the Scoville sword style of Pain 100% and Mad Dog 357. RZA Interview With The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 2012 talking about Wu-Tang Clan ALBUM DJ Envy asked RZA about his relationship with Wu-Tang because it seemed as if someone from the crew always had would often speak out against him, but they would never fight him. RZA laughed at the question because he knew exactly what Envy meant by the question. RZA kept it real and went on to say that the group was built on real love and even though they may not have seen eye to eye, they were always respectful of one another. According to RZA the Clan's love was "deeper than money" and he never tampered with anyone's money, but there were moments when he'd pull a member aside and explain why his cut was bigger because he had his hand in so many projects.
RZA recently sat down on Bloomberg TV’s All Due Respect show to talk about the current presidential race, and his feelings on Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. It didn’t take long for the legendary Wu-Tang producer to begin making eye-popping comments, qualifying his “Black lives matter” statement with “All lives matter,” before mentioning that he stopped eating meat because “their lives matter too.” As the interview continued, he mentioned that even though “Trump keeps it real,” he’d love to see Clinton succeed Obama in the Oval Office, calling that a “one-two punch.” If that wasn’t enough, in another clip from the interview, RZA begins speaking about his–and Black people’s in general–relationship with law enforcement, revealing that as a child, thanks to...
RZA has earned respect. As a rapper, producer, actor, screenwriter, author, director, as leader/producer of the Wu-Tang Clan, he has been a Hip Hop Renaissance Man. RZA sat with Urban Music Association of Canada President Will Strickland, having a casually intense conversation during Canadian Music Week 2008. Those assembled listened to an incisive, expansive, give-and-take discussion. RZA and Will weaved a story about the formative years of Hip Hop, the origins of the Wu-Tang name, the history of RZA’s storied career. Candid and straightforward, RZA talked about even the bad choices he’d made in his life. Music was his way out of the ghetto, as he himself has said. “I just look for different ways to express my artistic nature.” RZA has been acclaimed numerous times as one of the great...
