GOES-East IR, Composite Reflectivity and Global Precipitation Measurement
Data is obtained from NOAA Satellite and Information Service in cooperation with Unidata. Precipitation data is obtained from NASA's Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) satellite. Images are updated every 30 minutes. 1-Day precipitation observation data is obtained from Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service.

Weather Binge's winter variables is opertational until June 2016. We will continue to make improvements to the winter weather forecast by adding more data and models in the near future.

Long-Range Forecast over the United States
The long range forecast shows an 8 to 14 day chance or temperatures and preciptation being above or below average. These graphics are best used for forecast made after 7 days. For forecast ranges longer than 8 to 14 days, please visit the Climate Prediction Center for more detailed information.
