I'm James Knott and this is your Better Beer Authority. Today we are tasting a very popular beer -- Budweiser. Craft beer nerds love to hate this corporate giant, but does it really taste that bad? We will find out in a blind taste test. Budweiser is brewed by Anheuser Busch of St. Louis, MO -- which was bought by InBev in 2008. Adolphus Busch first sold this pale lager in America in 1876. It is 5 percent ABV and has 145 calories per 12 oz. can. It is the second best selling beer in America after Bud Light. There is a Budweiser brewery here in Columbus, Ohio, so this beer did not have far to travel. They use 2-row and 6-row barley along with rice to brew this beer. It is lagered for 3 weeks and then aged with Beechwood. Drink it cold out of a pint glass or pilsner glass. Let the blind taste test begin."
