I worked at a Safeway, let me tell you, we didn't do anything to customers no matter how shitty they were. We banned one person, and that person tossed their hot coffee at a manager for having her card declined. People are assholes. No matter how nice the employees are, there is always one shitbird customer.
What a fucking bitch. She's the type of trash that sees her life as a reality show and brings the drama. She's recording it for her protection? Are there guns behind the cash? Alligators?

Pak 'N Save / Safeway Emeryville, CA on Feb 25, 2016. The checker disappeared with the customer's $100 bill and left customers waiting in line. We waited over 15 minutes without any assistance from Safeway employees. I know, hind site is better than foresight. Why didn't I change lines? the few lines that were open had people waiting four deep. I was expecting the checker would come back any second, oh well. Safeway, is this any way to treat your customers?
We were finally saved by a wonderful off-duty manager and bagger! I hope Safeway acknowledges these two employees for jumping in and helping these stuck customers.
I didn't want to keep putting the camera in peoples faces but wanted to record the audio so portions of the video is very jumpy and covered
I am curious if Safeway is planning to close or sell this Pak 'n Save in Emeryville. I sent a comment to Safeway a couple weeks ago that the web link for Pak 'n Save weekly ads is broken, http://weeklyspecials.pak'nsave.com/customer_Frame.jsp?drpStoreID=3125
The domain pak'nsave.com does not exist. Also, apostrophes are not allowed in domain names. You would think their web programmers would know such things!
When I advised them of the error, they told me to clear my cache, delete cookies, change browser and try a different computer. Did the lazy tech support person even read my email? So I think they are not interested in supporting this Pak 'n Save any longer.

History
In 1915, Marion Barton Skaggs purchased his father's 576-square-foot (53.5 m2) grocery store in American Falls, Idaho, for $1,089. The chain, which operated as two separate businesses, Skaggs Cash Stores and Skaggs United Stores, grew quickly, and Skaggs enlisted the help of his five brothers to help grow the network of stores. M.B.'s business strategy, to give his customers value and to expand by keeping a narrow profit margin, proved spectacularly successful. By 1926, he had opened 428 Skaggs stores in 10 states. M.B. almost doubled the size of his business that year when he merged his company with 322 Safeway stores and incorporated as Safeway, Inc.

Safeway: lady customer insults employees and says that people with tattoos are "ghetto"
I worked at a Safeway, let me tell you, we didn't do anything to customers no matter how shitty they were. We banned one person, and that person tossed their hot coffee at a manager for having her card declined. People are assholes. No matter how nice the employees are, there is always one shitbird customer. What a fucking bitch. She's the type of trash that sees her life as a reality show and brings the drama. She's recording it for her protection? Are there guns behind the cash? Alligators?

Safeway video poor customer service, CRAZY!
Pak 'N Save / Safeway Emeryville, CA on Feb 25, 2016. The checker disappeared with the customer's $100 bill and left customers waiting in line. We waited over 15 minutes without any assistance from Safeway employees. I know, hind site is better than foresight. Why didn't I change lines? the few lines that were open had people waiting four deep. I was expecting the checker would come back any second, oh well. Safeway, is this any way to treat your customers? We were finally saved by a wonderful off-duty manager and bagger! I hope Safeway acknowledges these two employees for jumping in and helping these stuck customers. I didn't want to keep putting the camera in peoples faces but wanted to record the audio so portions of the video is very jumpy and covered I am curious if Safeway is plannin...
