William "Bill" Sage III (born April 3, 1962) is an American actor and alumnus of State University of New York at Purchase. He is known for his collaborations with director Hal Hartley.
Kelly Ann McGillis (born July 9, 1957) is an American actress. She has found fame for her acting roles in several films since the 1980s including: her role as Rachel Lapp in Witness (1985) with Harrison Ford, for which she received Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations, the role of Charlie in the huge Blockbuster hit Top Gun (1986) with Tom Cruise, and the role of attorney Kathryn Murphy in The Accused (1988), with Jodie Foster.
Kelly McGillis was born in Newport Beach, California, the daughter of Virginia Joan (née Snell), a homemaker, and Dr. Donald Manson McGillis, a general practitioner of medicine.
She attended the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California. In 1979, she moved to New York City to study acting at the Juilliard School, where she graduated in 1983. While at Juilliard she performed in William Congreve's Love for Love, directed by John Blatchley.
Her breakout role was that of an Amish mother in the 1985 film Witness with Harrison Ford, for which she received Golden Globe and BAFTA award nominations. Her next high-profile role was that of flight instructor Charlie in the 1986 fighter-pilot film Top Gun with Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. After 1988's The Accused, she appeared in Cat Chaser with Peter Weller, a film she despised and which discouraged her from pursuing an acting career. McGillis appeared in dozens of television and film roles throughout the 1990s before taking a break from acting for a few years.

Live at the Bull's Head, Barnes on 15th October 1972. A great treat to hear Bill Le Sage playing vibes. Eddie Thompson on piano, Brian Jones bass and Terry Jenkins on drums. Thompson, who went to the same school for the blind as George Shearing, is equally talented. He also displays his quirky sense of humour - and talent for harp-like playing of the piano strings. With thanks to Simon Spillett for his invaluable research work. 00:00 Track 1 13:27 Wave 18:55 Danny Boy 24:45 Track 4 Note authentic sound of the cigarrette slot machine! I was recently a guest on Sofia Smallstorm's podcast where I discuss the death of Paul McCartney based on the book The Memoirs of Billy Shears. The level of detail contained in the book by "encoder" Thomas E. Uharriet is incredibly extensive (666 pages) and leaves the reader understanding that we have been listening not to James Paul McCartney for 50 years but to his replacement William (Bill) Shepherd who at the time of Paul's death on September 11, 1966 was a talented yet unknown studio musician. Sage Dalton was a graduate of Dartmouth University and a regular listener to Mormon Stories podcast when she decided to serve an LDS mission in 2012. Towards latter half of her mission Sage began to experience depressive symptoms and suicidal ideation, due in part to a culture of perfectionism within Mormonism, along with doubts she began to experience as a missionary (about LGBT and historical issues). When Sage informed her mission president of her depressive symptoms, he allowed her only three visits to a talk therapist. Over time, Sage began to experience significant suicidal ideation, and on the final month of her mission was self-admitted to a psychiatric behavioral health unit/hospital. After her stay in the hospital, Sage decided that she no longer believed the church to be t...
If they asked me, I could write a book
About the way you walk and whisper and look
I could write a preface on how we met
So the world would never forget
And the simple secret of the plot
Is just to tell them that I love you a lot
And the world discovers, as my book ends
How to make two lovers a friend
Used to hate to go to school
I never cracked a book, I played The Hook
Never answered any mail
To write I used to think was wasting ink
It was never my endeavor to be to clever and smart
Now I suddenly feel our longing to write in my heart
If they asked me, I could write a book
About the way you walk and whisper and look
I could write a preface on how we met
So the world would never forget
And the simple secret of the plot
Is just to tell them that I love you a lot
And the world discovers, as my book ends
