Video Mapping of the Sriwijaya Festival 2015 depicts the historical journey of the Sriwijayan Kingdom and its first king Dapunta Hyang, the triumph of Balaputradewa and his journey to China and India. The story also depicts the city's journey to its current state.
The video mapping engages with the local citizens of Palembang, introducing its harmony with local cultures and different tribes. The site and facade was held at the Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya, on a heritage building and at a site holding the discovery of the ancient epigraphy "Kedukuan Bukit". The video mapping that supports the festival aims to create the awareness of the importance of history through the culture of Palembang city.

Video Mapping of the Sriwijaya Festival 2015 depicts the historical journey of the Sriwijayan Kingdom and its first king Dapunta Hyang, the triumph of Balaputradewa and his journey to China and India. The story also depicts the city's journey to its current state.
The video mapping engages with the local citizens of Palembang, introducing its harmony with local cultures and different tribes. The site and facade was held at the Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya, on a heritage building and at a site holding the discovery of the ancient epigraphy "Kedukuan Bukit". The video mapping that supports the festival aims to create the awareness of the importance of history through the culture of Palembang city.
