Tuesday 31 May 2016 South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, sat down for an interview with Jane Dutton. The Minister was questioned about recent events in the South African Parliament, where the Economic Freedom Fighters were recently evicted from the house (rather violently) during a question and answer session with President Jacob Zuma. Questions on the axing of former Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene, EFF leader Julius Malema's recent remarks on taking the country by the barrel of the gun, and Jacob Zuma's corruption charges were all deflected by the Minister.

His departure - after being fired by President Jazob Zuma - has spooked stock markets, triggering the biggest drop in the value of the rand currency for four years.
