Stafford (/ˈstæfəd/) is the county town of Staffordshire, in the West Midlands of England. It lies approximately 16 miles (26 km) north of Wolverhampton, 18 miles (29 km) south of Stoke-on-Trent and 24 miles (39 km) north-west of Birmingham. The population in 2001 was 63,681 and that of the wider borough of Stafford 122,000, the fourth largest in the county after Stoke-on-Trent, Tamworth and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
History
Stafford means 'ford' by a 'staithe' (landing place). The original settlement was on dry sand and gravel peninsula that provided a strategic crossing point in the marshy valley of the River Sow, a tributary of the River Trent. There is still a large area of marshland northwest of the town, which has always been subject to flooding, such as in 1947, 2000 and 2007.
It is thought Stafford was founded in about 700 AD by a Mercian prince called Bertelin who, according to legend, established a hermitage on the peninsula named Betheney or Bethnei. Until recently it was thought that the remains of a wooden preaching cross from this time had been found under the remains of St Bertelin's chapel, next to the later collegiate Church of St Mary in the centre of the town. Recent re-examination of the evidence shows this was a misinterpretation – it was a tree trunk coffin placed centrally in the first, timber, chapel at around the time Æthelflæd founded the burh, in 913 AD. The tree trunk coffin may have been placed there as an object of commemoration or veneration of St Bertelin.

Lil Jon
Jonathan Smith (born January 17, 1971), better known by his stage name Lil Jon, is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, DJ and actor. He was the frontman of the group Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, which he formed in 1997, and they released several albums until 2004. He then went solo and released a new album in 2010 titled Crunk Rock. He was also featured on Celebrity Apprentice during its 11th and 13th seasons.
Life and career
Beginnings
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Smith graduated from Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta. After working as a DJ for Atlanta night clubs, he started working for So So Def Recordings between 1993 and 2000.
Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz
Smith took the stage name Lil Jon and formed musical group Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz with rappers Big Sam (born Sammie Dernard Norris) and Lil' Bo (born Wendell Maurice Neal). The group signed to the Atlanta-based Mirror Image Records and were distributed by Ichiban Records. In 1997, Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz debuted with Get Crunk, Who U Wit: Da Album. It included singles "Who U Wit?" and "Shawty Freak a Lil' Sumthin'", the latter of which came out in 1998. Both singles charted on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 70 and No. 62 respectively. In 2000, Jon took part in starting up his own label BME Recordings and signed a distribution agreement with Norcross, Georgia-based Southern Music Distribution. There he released his breakthrough album titled We Still Crunk!. Among the tracks on that project was the hit single "I Like Those Girls", which reached No. 55 on the R&B chart and No. 3 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart.

Stafford Brothers
Stafford Brothers are DJs and producers from Gold Coast, Australia known for blending the genres of house, electro, and progressive house music. Currently based in Los Angeles, the brothers were the first electronic dance music act to sign to Cash Money Records - an American record label, in 2012. Stafford Brothers also have their own syndicated network TV show The Stafford Brothers, which ran in 2010 and 2011. Stafford Brothers host their weekly radio show on Austereo Radio Network. They have released several mixtapes, and Stafford Brothers' 2013 single "Hello" featured Lil Wayne and Christina Milian. They have been ranked as the number 1 DJs in Australia in the ITM Awards.

The Stafford Brothers have produced club records for a number of labels. In December 2012, Cash Money Records co-CEO’s Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Birdman” Williams announced they had signed the Stafford Brothers.
2011: Real Madrid single
In 2011, Real Madrid C.F. commissioned the Stafford Brothers to reproduce their club anthem ‘Himno del Real Madrid’. ‘Everybody (Hala Madrid)’ was released on iTunes along with an official music video featuring famous footage from Real Madrid games.

Music festival
A music festival is a festival oriented towards music that is sometimes presented with a theme such as musical genre, nationality or locality of musicians, or holiday. They are commonly held outdoors, and are often inclusive of other attractions such as food and merchandise vending, performance art, and social activities. Many festivals are annual, or repeat at some other interval. Some, including many rock festivals, are held only once. Some festivals are organized as for-profit concerts and others are benefits for a specific cause. Another type of music festival is the educative type, organized annually in local communities, regionally or nationally, for the benefit of amateur musicians of all ages and grades of achievement.

Drawn Home was written by Jonathan, in collaboration with Art Society (the music group he co-founded) during 2008 in Boone, NC. Most of the Art Society's members (Justina Brinkley, Brandon Crockett, Jared Sapp, Jessie Stafford, Becca Mintz, and Jon) were students at Appalachian State University at the time. When we were grieving together after Jon's death, we remembered having several Art Society recordings, and began listening together. As the remarkable, poetic lyrics of Drawn Home progressed and concluded, we were amazed and weeping. It seemed that Jonathan was foretelling the tragedy in the Charles River, but also prophesying his beautiful, eternal redemption from this world. A journey of several days is about to begin on the Amazon Clipper, upstream on the Rio Negro, one of the region’s main rivers, and into the vast jungle beyond. A self-contained system of more than a thousand inlets supply the Amazon, as well as water from the surrounding mountains. Numerous water courses, jungles and climatic zones form this region, from the Andes of Peru to as far as the Brazilian Delta where the river flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Only from the pilot’s bridge is the tangled labyrinth of the many water courses between the region’s small islands, recognizable. Often the islands are flooded up to the tops of the trees. Soon we come to the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the largest fresh water archipelago on Earth, a huge complex of three hundred and fifty islands For the journey of a lifetime, the Amazon and its rain forests are an absolute must!

It previously belonged to the Earls of Lichfield, and is now owned by the National Trust and maintained by the leaseholder, Staffordshire County Council. The 19th century Sandon Hall is 5 miles (8.0 km) northeast of Stafford. It is set in 400 acres (1.6 km2) of parkland, and is the seat of the Earl of Harrowby.
Stafford Gatehouse Theatre is the town's main entertainment and cultural venue. The Met Studio within the Gatehouse is a dedicated venue for stand-up comedy and alternative live music. Victoria Park, opened in 1908, is a 13 acre (53,000 m2) Edwardian riverside park with a play park, bowling green, bird cages and greenhouses; Victoria Park has recently undergone a major redevelopment in places.
Stafford railway station was once a major hub on the railway network, but the suspension of passenger services on the Stafford to Uttoxeter line in 1939 and Beeching's closure of the Stafford to Shrewsbury Line in 1964 completely halted east-west traffic through Stafford. The Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal runs close to the Baswich and Wildwood areas, and was previously linked to the River Sow by the River Sow Navigation. The majority of bus services in Stafford and area are provided by Arriva Midlands, and the company also operates services to Lichfield, Cannock and Wolverhampton.

When it comes to shopping, Edinburgh has it all from department stores to friendly little boutiques.
Key areas:
Edinburgh's main shopping artery is Princes Street in the New Town. Here you'll find major chain and department stores interspersed with Scottish souvenir shops. Romanes & Paterson at 62 Princes Street has sold kilts and other tartan items since 1878.
Multrees Walk off St Andrew Square has several designer shops including Armani, Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein. George Street is also flanked with designer stores such as Whistles, Hobbs, Jaeger and Scotland's very own Cruise. Narrow Thistle Street has some real gems, including long-standing boutique Jane Davidson at number 52.
In the West End, there's a clutch of independent shops around Stafford Street and William Street. Check out Studio One, 10 Stafford Street, for funky home-ware and a neat selection of pocket-money toys.
The Royal Mile is chock full of Scottish-themed shops; some are high quality while others are cheap and cheerful. For a more eclectic mix, head south of the Royal Mile, where colourful Victoria Street leads down to the Grassmarket, a trading place since 1477. Both the Grassmarket and Victoria Street are packed with arts and crafts shops, bookshops and specialist food stores, including a wonderful cheese shop, Iain J Mellis.
Markets:
Over 50 producers sell a delectable range of fresh meat, fish, cheese, chutneys, bread and organic beer at the outdoor Edinburgh Farmers' Market at Castle Terrace on Saturday mornings throughout the year.
In December, you can pick up wooden toys, jewellery and unique Christmas gifts (along with a toasty mug of gluhwein) at the lively German Christmas market in Princes Street Gardens.

When visiting Portland, Oregon, you must explore the outdoors! Forest Park is one of the largest urban parks in the US with miles to hike in the outdoors. Portland OR also has lots of breweries.
