CNCO drops first original single
“Tan Fácil” (So Easy) is the title for the first original single of La Banda’s winners, CNCO. The group, made up of Christopher, Erick, Joel, Richard and Zabdiel, is also ready to be the opening act for the fourth leg of Ricky Martin's "One World" Tour, which launches in February in Puerto Rico and will continue in Argentina and Chile. Paulina Rubio vs Thalía: Who Has the Best Reggaeton Song? Vote!
Thalía's new single: "Desde Esa Noche" feat. Maluma
Surprisingly, Thalia has released a reggaeton song. Titled "Desde Esa Noche" (From That Night), it features Colombian sensation Maluma. The single anticipates her next studio album (with no name, yet). The pair will perform the song together at Premio Lo Nuestro 2016, where they also will debut the music video.
Carlos Vives takes the party to Miami
The return of Carlos Vives to Miami was officially announced. The singer will perform at the American Airlines Arena on May 6, 2016 with his new tour titled Carlos Vives – La Fiesta de Todos. Last year, Vives joined Marc Anthony for "Unido2," but the pair didn't perform together in Miami.
Jencarlos Canela releases new single: 'Baby' (feat. Lennox)
Musician/actor Jencarlos Canela released "Baby," a reggae-pop song with electro/trap elements. The single follows his previous single "Bajito," which landed in the top 10 of Billboard’s Latin Pop chart in both the US and had over 5 million streams on Spotify.
Los Recoditos with a new album, and ready to perform at Mexico’s National Auditorium
Regional Mexican band Los Recoditos, released a new album, Me Está Gustando (Fonovisa). The set features 12 tracks penned by renowned authors such as Luciano Luna, Ernesto Barajas, Espinoza Paz, Horacio Palencia, and Abraham Ramos “El Gordito de Sinaloa." Recoditos will perform at Mexico’s Auditorio Nacional for the first time on May 19th.
Jose Luis Rodriguez “El Puma” back in music
Music icon José Luis Rodríguez, “El Puma”, has signed with Sony Music. The singer is back at the studios, working on his new project Inmenso, directed by singer/songwriter Ricardo Montaner. The album will feature new versions of El Puma’s classics such as “Dueño de Nada," “Agárrense de las Manos," “Pavo Real” and “Silencio," among others.
