Marble Hill Housing projects next to Target Mall in Riverdale, Bronx, has eleven buildings, with an estimated 3,433 people living in the 14-15 story high buildings. The same tenants sit outside all day...every single day, talking loud, using offensive foul words and playing loud profanity rap music right under our windows and conduct drug deals, sell cigarettes and drink beer and alcohol openly - often at the basketball court and children's playground. We also have to compete with the #1 train that causes high decibel noise. The property is littered with garbage daily and the NYCHA maintenance staff couldn't care less. Never seen regular police patrols to contain these crimes.
People sometime play loud music from their apt that could be heard on Broadway and throughout property. DJ's set up music without a permit or event reason and play well into 1-2am in the circle on weekends -- no police patrols to control this loud music - even though the responsible tenants are acting pass the violation hours. Children play basketball and run around on the public hallways. People smoke weed and crack & piss in the stairwells.
This video was made to demonstrate the level of drug dealing, noise and danger our children and families cope with daily. I was waiting for them to pull the guns out. Dispute is money owed. All the people near the end was attacking the man (red tank) who they believed shorted the others on the drug money.
Video was shot Sunday, June 14, 2015 on or about 7am.

Construction began in 1977 and was halted in 1984 with Unit #1 approximately 80% complete and Unit#2 40% complete. A proposal in June 1984 to complete the project was made by three of the major construction contractors: the Bechtel Power Corporation, Sargent & Lundy and the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. This plan was rejected because it required Public Service Indiana to continue to find financing for the $7.1 billion project.
Two "sister" plants were constructed, Braidwood Nuclear Generating Station and Byron Nuclear Generating Station, both in Illinois. Braidwood serves the Chicago area. As a point of comparison, the Braidwood facility took 12 years to build at a final cost of $5.2 billion.

This subway stop is straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. Everywhere you look, there's an opportunity to go flying off a cliff into the water. Anyway, this is more of a transit stop, and there is a department store area just a few blocks WAY downhill. Artura's Pizza is da bomb!
