Bear
Bears are mammals of the family Ursidae. Bears are classified as caniforms, or doglike carnivorans, with the pinnipeds being their closest living relatives. Although only eight species of bears are extant, they are widespread, appearing in a wide variety of habitats throughout the Northern Hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere. Bears are found on the continents of North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Common characteristics of modern bears include large bodies with stocky legs, long snouts, shaggy hair, plantigrade paws with five nonretractile claws, and short tails. While the polar bear is mostly carnivorous, and the giant panda feeds almost entirely on bamboo, the remaining six species are omnivorous with varied diets.
With the exception of courting individuals and mothers with their young, bears are typically solitary animals. They are generally diurnal, but may be active during the night (nocturnal) or twilight (crepuscular), particularly around humans. Bears possess an excellent sense of smell and, despite their heavy build and awkward gait, are adept runners, climbers, and swimmers. In autumn, some bear species forage large amounts of fermented fruits, which affects their behaviour. Bears use shelters, such as caves and burrows, as their dens; most species occupy their dens during the winter for a long period (up to 100 days) of sleep similar to hibernation.

The most famous of them is Teddy Ruxpin, a teddy born in 1985 and is currently considered the most sold in this format in the United States and some other regions of the world. What is special about Teddy Ruxpin is that it was the first animatronic bear in history, that its capabilities we were with mechanical movement in the mouth and eyes, and a tape deck in the back to mount tapes story, let a revolution for that era. Now after four generations comes the new and renovated Teddy Ruxpin, which is updated with new technologies for the next generation of kids.
'Worlds of Wonder' was the creator of this bear in 1985, but due to financial problems sold the license to Hasbro in 1991. From 1998 to 2010 Teddy Ruxpin pass through two other companies and now after some negotiations Wicked Cool Toys is the new owner of the rights of the bear, who will then give life to the fifth generation of teddy Ruxpin. This new Teddy Ruxpin maintains many of the mechanical elements such as the movement of the mouth, but now my eyes have been changed by two LED screens with a circular design, which show animations full color offering greater realism, as flickers, look at around and graphics that has to do with his famous stories.
The tape deck in the back has been changed by a 4GB hard drive loaded with 40 stories, but also has Bluetooth connection that will allow you to link to a mobile app to download new stories. Within this application the option of following the stories with an interactive book, plus a feature that helps kids to read by Teddy, which adds a new interaction is offered. The new Teddy Ruxpin hit the market in August 2017 at a price to be announced later. The company is promising to be periodically to incorporate new features, plus it goes on sale with accessories such as a digital camera, which will make the famous teddy bear suits the times updates.
