Nicholas Tonti-Filippini held strong views about voluntary #euthanasia until the end. The bioethicist was quoted widely by news organisations, hard to think who we will go to now for an opposing view.
One of the country's leaders speakers against voluntary euthanasia, Nicholas Tonti-Filippini has died after a long battle with a chronic auto-immune disease.

More than $100 million in Uniting Church funds won't be invested in some fossil fuel companies. The church investor says it wants to move itself out of the market for "dirtiest and riskiest" dangers to the #environment.
The Uniting Church in Australia will stop investing in corporations that extract fossil fuels, saying it must do its part to support small island states at risk over global warming.
