"Aïcha" is the name of a song written by the French singer songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman. The title refers to an Arabic female name. The song was originally performed by Algerian raï artist Khaled. The original French single was never released in an album, though Khaled's 1996 album Sahra featured a bilingual version of the song sung in both French and Arabic. The Arabic lyrics for the bilingual version of the song are written by Khaled. Khaled's music video was directed by Sarah Moon.
The song's lyrics are about a woman named Aïcha, who is being wooed by a man. He promises her pearls, jewels, poems, and other luxuries and romantic things, to which she replies:
The song's chorus has the following words in French (with English translation):
The lyrics were all in French. The Arabic verse by Khaled (his own composition) added later is as follows:
In 2002, the Danish hip hop band, Outlandish, recorded and released an English version of the song "Aicha" that was included in their album Bread & Barrels of Water and was produced and musically performed by Mintman (Carsten Mortensen). The song peaked at #2 in the Mega Single Top 100 for two weeks and for three weeks in the Swedish Singles Chart. It also reached the top in Switzerland, and #3 in Austria and Norway, and #8 in Belgium. A video was also shot for the single.

Automotive News is a weekly print newspaper written for automotive retailers, suppliers and manufacturers. It is based in Detroit and owned by Crain Communications Inc. The brand has a team of more than 55 editors and reporters worldwide.
The company is headquartered at 1155 Gratiot Avenue in downtown Detroit.
George Slocum had felt for years that the auto industry needed a trade newspaper and in 1925 he secured the financial backing to start one. Automotive News started as Automotive Daily News and the first issue appeared on August 27, 1925 by Slocum Publishing. It was published in New York with Slocum as Detroit advertising manager. The chief angel of Automotive Daily News was Bernarr Macfadden.
In 1933, Slocum bought out the other investors and moved the paper to Detroit, and the publication was changed from fives times a week to twice a week - Wednesday and Saturday. The midweek edition was dropped in June 1938, and with the June 4 issue the paper's name changed to Automotive News. The subscription price was reduced from $6 a year to $4 a year. In 1939, the publication day was changed to Monday.

In interview with Hidetoshi Kudo, General Manager, Corporate Communications Div., Propulsion has learned that the department in charge of research and development at Mazda headquarter was still in operation, like the department in charge of “developing“ the next “RX“ sports car. This come as a direct contradiction to the interview Automotive News had with Mazda’s CEO Masamichi Kogai, after which the media outlet claimed the CEO confirmed the “RX” project was dead. Kudo-san explained that the confusion came after Automotive News asked the CEO if the next “RX” Sports car would come with some short of range-extender technology, to which the CEO replied “No”. Automotive News interpreted this answer as a confirmation that the project was done. Finis les rumeurs : le moteur rotatif bien vivan...
