This app was awesome until the last update. The app has the ability to take and upload photos within the app, but the last update removed the ability to rename the photo before uploading. This just added a lot more work to upload photos with names you want. The GUI was also changed and is a lot less intuitive. If the developers fix this I'll change my rating, but until then I give it ONE STAR.

Was great, now no longer even works. This app WAS fantastic. One of the best things on my device. Ever since v4.0.474, it will not run on my device. It crashes every time I try to open a document, no matter what type of file. This is completely unacceptable. I use Box regularly, and now can no longer do so on my device. If this is not fixed, I cannot continue to recommend this service to my colleagues

Very good for android Backup, sync... The only problem is speed. As in sync FEBE "backup of Firefox extensions" to box : fast enough from windows7 to box, not box to Mac is slow. The android side is fast enough for camera backup. Correction *WAS* , as this doesn't seem to work any more. (Dropbox needed to take over the photos)

Fixed. Stopped working on Samsung note 4 Edit: fixed. So this app used to work fine on my device and now it has stopped working. I opened the app, it automatically signed me out of my account, and it does not let me enter my email and pass! The login page is not responsive to a finger touch.

liked it before the update i liked the ui before the update better sometimes you dont need to fix what is not broken. still solid and best file sharing system. however is there still a way to upload multiple files all at once rather than selecting one item at a time? i use this for work and this has slowed me down alot.

I'm not sure which update broke this, but lately if I open the Box app do what I need to do, then close the box app. At some random time later while using an entirely different app this one will suddenly take over and pop up again for no discernable reason. This is particularly annoying when in the middle of a game then suddenly Box pops up. The only way I've found to stop this is by force closing the Box process entirely. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I'd hate to have to convert to Google Drive or some other inferior service.

Can't even get on to try Every time I try to create an account, it says creating then nothing. If I try to login using the info I used to set up an account it tells me invalid credentials. I used the forgot password, it never sent an email to reset. Screw this, I'm out!
Feature Request I'm a long time user of Box (since 2011), and I've seen your software progress wonderfully then. All of my cloud storage needs are met with your service, except for one thing. As long as I can remember, when playing/previewing music directly from the app, only one file is played at a time. That makes it a real pain listening to an entire album at once. Would it be possible to add a dialog where users can select music files to automatically play the next track when previewed? Thanks for all of the hard work!
Cannot log into another account I would have given this more if the keyboard was available to enter the email of the additional account. Seems to be a bug (Samsung S5, Android 6.0.1) otherwise it works OK. PS: upgraded to 5 stars after response from Box. Yes, the blue light filter was causing the problem. Now I have full access to an incredible volume of free and reliable storage!

Hi Steve, please disable any dimmers or other screen overlays before logging in. Confusing as hell I am pretty savvy when it comes to these things, but Box is ridiculous! My screen looks nothing like the tutorial and i cannot open or edit a file. Now i can't complete my work assignments for class tonight! ! Hate it!

Please reach out to us at android-support@box.com, if you continue facing problems. Keeps logging me out Why does the app keep logging me out? Terrible user experience when I go to use it and every time I have to log in again. I use the passcode, but as I go to enter the code I get a logged out message. I remember the passcode but not my secure password, which is stored elsewhere.

Hey Tim, please reach out to us at android-support@box.com, so we can look into this. Offline storage Just updated my app and regret it! The option to store offline doesn't work. Had to manually open each file to save it. Hope I am able to access the files when I need them. Wish the android version worked like the apple.

Doesn't work at all 2 days ago i have kept few photos for upload into my box account it's still uploading even today.. This is very poor... Fix that n I'll give you back the 5 star
Playing video even after pressing Home button It should stop playing instantly as I press home. This is really bad... And Same like Google it doesn't have auto log out feature like it should log out if there is no activity for x number of minutes or when screen goes off or someone comes & we just press the home button. Things happen accidentally... . Passlock is a good feature u have for the time being but still auto log out would be best
Lost a star because of bug Current Aug 2016 version lost functionality. e.g. Download Function use to allow you to set the target location before starting the process, now it just targets the DOWNLOAD folder/directory. I'm forced to use my device's file_manager to move the files to my intended location! Please fix this problem.
Why can't I open ANYTHING??? Samsung galaxy 4s. Since this week's "update" I cannot access anything put in my folders. I've been trying to get client info for an hour and a half. I can't call/email them if I don't even have their name! Best part is even if something does open, you have to make sure to go in and make it available for offline viewing or else you may never see it again! My company stuck all their eggs in one "BOX" and now I can't do my job

Please reach out to us at android-support@box.com, so we can look into this. New issues Some reason I can't stay logged in. I have replaced my phone and down loaded the app and ever since that I need to keep logging back to the app. up to that I would have gave you 5 stars.
I have used box for years to backup anything form source code for Perl, Python, C and assembler plus the configuration files for blogs and data for each blog. The app make it easy to transfer files to phones and tablets. BUT for the 5th star: please make a configuration for automatic overwrite / ask if overwrite instead of just adding a number after the download (a "feature" introduced as few days ago). I ONLY want the latest version of my program on my tablet/phone for use with a source code listing program. Now I have to erase the old file and then rename the new every time I change something and that is tiring!
Terrible update. What the hell...? After updated, I can't upload other files (except Music and photos). When I go to the folder I put zip, docx and pdf files, I see nothing. How the hell am I going to upload them when I don't see any while I'm pretty sure I have in that folder? I had to upload pCloud instead of Box. Please fix it. Thank you!

Hey Violet, please reach out to us at android-support@box.com, with a screenshot so we can look into this. Not trustworthy app I had download three items when it was ddownloading it was showing in active folder after completion of upload it disappear. Not trustworthy app. They want your data only and number of logins.
New UI Is Extremely Bad Whoever came up with such a new UI is seriously pissing regular users off. Totally not happy with it. More complicating to use, cant even select a folder to sync as I have to select individual item(s).
Latest redesign introduced some bugs After the redesign, whenever I open the app it spasms and reloads at least six times before I can successfully enter my pin and open it. Happening on all my devices and two different phones, so it's definitely an app bug. A huge annoyance when I need into the app rapidly! Box has done many updates to the app since the redesign and not fixed this yet. UPDATE: and now apparently I can't zoom when viewing a picture if Lux is active either!
Not yet reliable The 'pause' button on MacBook Air does not work (it continues to synch even when 'paused'), which is not good for those of us on restricted data plans. As Box have not addressed this issue, or replied to my email, I am keeping this at two stars.
UPDATE BROKE BOX Long press on "library" allows selection of multiple images, but the functionality of bulk up loading mixed screen shots and images sorted by time direct from the Samsung gallery into the selected box folder is lost. I used this every day all day for hundreds of images, odometer readings, GPS map, calendar and calculator screen shots. I need the right images and photos to be in the right order and all able to be selected together for bulk upload. Please fix this or help me Uninstall update. Thx
Years I have had Box and I would never think of switching to anything else this is so feature packed and for me I have never had any problems with app via mobile or on the PC works flawlessly everytime! Honestly look no further just download it already ( on droid mini Android 4.4.4)
DONOT ACCEPT/DO THE 09/16 UPDATE I 've been using box for over 5y versus its competitor mainly because the app was working the best on iphone and android!!! Now with the latest update i can't even upload 2 pictures at once!!! Hope some amendments will be added soon!!! 》 》 》Well let's try out the tip below. Thanks Box Team!

Hey Mike, if you long press on a file while using "Add from Library", you should be able to select multiple files for uploading. Great app [Updated] great app, easy to use and good response when issues are reported [previous, but fixed]: I recently changed phone and have since been unable to use the app... It won't let me type in my account details to log in or select anything on the log in page!

Hey Stephen, please disable any screen dimmers you might be using. These interfere with our security settings. Always freezes or crashes Can't even use it for more than 5 minutes before it freezes or just crashes.
Fix uploading I can not upload my files to my box account. I don't know why. I could do it a week or two ago. I ll rate 5 stars when u get it back working..
No longer working I have a galaxy s7 and installed the box app. The keyboard will not pop up to allow me to sign into my account. Edit after turning off my blue screen filter it is working perfectly!!!

Hey Doug, please try disabling any screen dimmers/overlays before signing in. Very Bad Why can't upload big file like 300 mb and higher file type i need upload big file like over 2 gb in every single time

Useless app I am trying to to upload some data from my galaxy note 5 since 5 days but everytime before uploading it gives error saying failed to upload. Even before there was option to rename the file before u upload and that option is taken away. So now its totally useless dont download it wasting your time guys....
File transfer failed Have to rate this app from 5 to 1 star. Can't download files. Just says unknown error and file transfer failed.
Problem There is a problem in the interface of sign in or sign up preventing any edition of information as emil or password I hope you will fix it soon

Can't post photo directly Now, i can't post a photo directly from box app to my browser. I have to download it first to my phone. Please fix it
Buggy New version crashes frequently and shutdown unexpectedly. Limited functionality and no access to the admin controls.
I have 11GB media archive for the car audio. The stupid flash drive failed. And now cannot download it in any way. Browser download stops at 600MB-1GB. Webdav does not work with any client I found. Thought to try this stupid app and it always fails after it sits on "preparing" for some time. Is this service a one-way only storage?!
