Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

An Inside Edition reporter put New Yorkers to the test by seeing if they would give up their seat to a pregnant woman. Ann Mercogliano, who is seven months pregnant, took a ride on the subway system and found a number of people were willing to give up their seats. She also stood at the bottom of a stairway to see if anyone would help carry her suitcase up the stairs but many people rushed by. Another test shows Mercogliano hailing cabs and was touched when one woman offered her taxi without hesitation.

There is no quintessential NYC experience quite like running down a subway station platform with your arms flapping all about like a distressed penguin, making eye contact with the conductor, and then hesitantly stretching out your hand to try to slip between the doors before they close. For every time they re-open, they're just as likely to slam shut in your face, leaving you gazing at your own disconsolate reflection in the greasy window as the train rolls away forever.

Bobo is arrested by the police and chained for trial by judge, and the judge sentences him to life - in a circus, where he is bat "boy" for the big top baseball team, and laments that he's carrying logs (i.e. bats) yet again!

An Inside Edition reporter put New Yorkers to the test by seeing if they would give up their seat to a pregnant woman. Ann Mercogliano, who is seven months pregnant, took a ride on the subway system and found a number of people were willing to give up their seats. She also stood at the bottom of a stairway to see if anyone would help carry her suitcase up the stairs but many people rushed by. Another test shows Mercogliano hailing cabs and was touched when one woman offered her taxi without hesitation.

The Starbucks Red Cup Controversy NYC 2015
Today I interview New Yorkers on the Red Cup Controversy. The Red Cup Controversy started when Starbucks decided not to print decorative pictures on their Christmas Season cups. They usually have snowflakes, snowmen and little elfs. Sometime reindeer. This year they are just plain red.
This cause a huge backlash from Christian communities and many others that observe Christmas, the birth of Jesus.
I was interested to see what New Yorkers think on this issue. I took to the street on Canal and Broadway in downtown Manhattan and interviewed nearly thirty ( 30 ) people on the topic. Watch the video here ( https://youtu.be/4yerRVKF27g ) and be sure to comment your opinion of the issue.
