Kat Lavers joined Millie Ross and Kevin John in the studio to explain how to make your garden a smart one.
Her company, My Smart Garden, operates through Western suburb councils to help residents make the most of their gardens.
"Ask not what you can do for your garden, but what your garden can do to you," she joked.
Kat explained how to make sure you're unlocking the full capacity of your garden space.
Sometimes that could mean providing a habitat for native plants and animals, or decreasing your energy bills by shading your house from the sun and wind, or even growing your own vegetables in the garden.
