Adam West (born William West Anderson; September 19, 1928) is an American film, television, character, voice and stage actor, whose career spans six decades of television, who's also the figure in the comic book and superhero community. He has also appeared as a guest on several talk shows, variety shows and as a panelist on numerous game shows.
Through West's longest career, his acting career began in films in 1959, among the Westerns that he appeared in, playing opposite Chuck Connors in Geronimo (1962) and Joe DeRita in The Outlaws Is Coming (1965). He has also appeared in the science fiction flick, opposite Paul Mantee in Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964). He also achieved continuing success for the title role in the 1960s ABC campy series Batman and its theatrical feature film. He has done voice work on animated series such as The Fairly OddParents and Family Guy, in both of which he voices fictional versions of himself.
Adam West was born as William West Anderson on September 19, 1928, in Walla Walla, Washington, to Otto West Anderson (January 25, 1903 – October 9, 1984), and Audrey V. Speer (1906–69). His paternal grandparents were Swedish. His father was a farmer, his mother, an opera singer and concert pianist who was forced to abandon her own Hollywood dreams to care for her family. Following her example, West revealed to his father as a youth that he intended after school to go to Hollywood. He moved to Seattle when he was 15 with his mother following his parents' divorce.
Batman is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, and first appeared in Detective Comics #27 (May 1939). Originally named "the Bat-Man", the character is also referred to by such epithets as the "Caped Crusader", the "Dark Knight", and the "World's Greatest Detective".
Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, an American billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and owner of Wayne Enterprises. After witnessing the murder of his parents as a child, he swore revenge on criminals, an oath tempered by a sense of justice. Wayne trains himself both physically and intellectually and crafts a bat-inspired persona to fight crime. Batman operates in the fictional Gotham City, with assistance from various supporting characters, including his butler Alfred, police commissioner Jim Gordon, and vigilante allies such as Robin. Unlike most superheroes, Batman does not possess any superpowers; rather, he relies on his genius intellect, physical prowess, martial arts abilities, detective skills, science and technology, vast wealth, provocation of fear and intimidation, and an indomitable will. A large assortment of villains make up Batman's rogues gallery, including his archenemy the Joker.
Adam (Hebrew: אָדָם; Aramaic/Syriac: ܐܕܡ; Arabic: آدم) is a figure from the Book of Genesis who is also mentioned in the New Testament, the deuterocanonical books, the Quran, the Book of Mormon, and the Book of Iqan. According to the creation myth of the Abrahamic religions, he was the first human.
In the Genesis creation narratives, he was created by Yahweh-Elohim ("Yahweh-God", the god of Israel), though the term "adam" can refer to both the first individual person, as well as to the general creation of humankind. Christian churches differ on how they view Adam's subsequent behavior of disobeying God (often called the Fall of man), and to the consequences that those actions had on the rest of humanity. Christian and Jewish teachings sometimes hold Adam and Eve (the first woman) to a different level of responsibility for the Fall, though Islamic teaching holds both equally responsible. In addition, Islam holds that Adam was eventually forgiven, while Christianity holds that redemption occurred only later through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The Bahá'í Faith, Islam and some Christian denominations consider Adam to be the first prophet.
West is a noun, adjective, or adverb indicating direction or geography. West is one of the four cardinal directions or compass points. It is the opposite of east and is perpendicular to north and south.
The word "West" is a Germanic word passed into some Romance languages (ouest in French, oest in Catalan, ovest in Italian, oeste in Spanish and Portuguese). As is apparent in the Gothic term vasi (Visigoths), it stems from the same Indo-European root that gave the Sanskrit vas-ati (night) and vesper (evening) in Latin.
To go west using a compass for navigation, one needs to set a bearing or azimuth of 270°.
West is the direction opposite that of the Earth's rotation on its axis, and is therefore the general direction towards which the Sun appears to constantly progress and eventually set.
Moving continuously west is following a circle of latitude.
The phrase "the West" is often spoken in reference to the Western world, which includes Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the European Union, and the United States of America.
A bat is a flying mammal of the Order Chiroptera.

The conclusion on 1966 Batman episode Batman's Anniversary. This episode clip- A Riddling Controversy
When you open up a Batman comic book or watch any program involving Batman, there's always a credit line that goes along with the product. It reads “Batman created by Bob Kane.” But was Kane really the sole creator of Batman? The fact is Kane's idea did'nt go much further than a character named Batman. Kane had this idea of "a character who looked very much like Superman with kind of ... reddish tights, with boots ... no gloves, no gauntlets ... with a small domino mask, swinging on a rope. Two stiff wings that were sticking out, looking like bat wings. And under it was a big sign ... BATMAN.” Kane hired Bill finger a writer who had done some uncredited writing for him on Rusty and Pals. Kane gave bill finger the task of develping the character of Batman. It was Bill finger which actual...

Francine worked as a showgirl at Frank Sennes' Moulin Rouge, a popular Hollywood nightclub on Sunset Blvd., where she performed in three shows a night, seven nights a week, for six months. York's first big break came when Jerry Lewis cast her in his film, It's Only Money, in which she played a tantalizing sexpot, a role which brought her much publicity. This led to Lewis hiring her for five more of his films, including The Nutty Professor, The Patsy, The Disorderly Orderly, The Family Jewels, and Cracking Up, in which she portrayed a fifteenth-cen...

Hidden inside this adorable young girl is a voice so powerful that the entire room hung on her every word throughout the whole song “Defying Gravity” from the popular musical Wicked. Throughout the audience, jaws dropped, eyes popped open as wide as humanly possible, and the judges were all just waiting for the opportunity to reward her with something huge. Adam West and Burt Ward go in search of the Batmobile after it is stolen, and along the way find themselves forced to consult their memories to decipher clues left by the criminals, evidently people they had known from filming the Batman television series. Memories include affairs, one of which led to Burt being chased by a knife-bearing lover, medicine Burt was forced to take so his genitals would not be so visible in his tights, and Adam meeting the actress who played Batgirl and accidentally placing a hand on her breast during filming. As it turns out, the villains who stole the Batmobile were the actors who once played the Riddler and Catwoman.

In *The Caped Crusade*, Glen Weldon lays out Batman’s seventy-eight-year history and his multitudinous iterations: from his dark beginnings on the comic book page through his introduction to Saturday morning cartoons, from toy shelves across the country to the silver screen and beyond. Since his creation in 1939, Batman has been many things. He's helped make us who we are today and that's why his legacy remains so strong. Weldon shows us that each version of Batman is legitimate because he is personal to someone—he is someone’s “my Batman.”

Frankenstein; or The Modern Prometheus (1818) Mary Wollstonecraft SHELLEY Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus is a novel written by the British author Mary Shelley. Shelley wrote the novel when she was 18 years old. The first edition was published anonymously in London in 1818, and this audiobook is read from that text. Shelley's name appeared on the revised third edition, published in 1831. The title of the novel refers to the scientist, Victor Frankenstein, who learns how to create life and creates a being in the likeness of man, but larger than average and more powerful. In modern popular culture, people have tended to refer to the Creature as "Frankenstein" (especially in films since 1931), despite this being the name of the scientist, and the creature being unnamed in the book it...

I'm right there when you pick up the phone
I'm right here when you're sleeping alone
You can't hear what I'm trying to say
You're gonna fall for me anyway
I'm right there when you walk down the street
I'm on the face of every guy you meet
Got made when I was twenty-one
Left town with a stash and gun
You can't hear what I'm trying to say
You're gonna fall for me anyway
Hot child in the city tonight
I'm looking good and I'm loving right
You've had it rough
And I'm hanging tough
I've got some things I need to show
And satisfied?
I'll be your guide
I've got the means to make you go
I'm right there when you walk down the street
I'm on the face of every guy you meet
You can't hear what I'm trying to say
You're gonna fall for me anyway
I'm right there when you pick up the phone
I'm right here when you're sleeping alone
You can't hear what I'm trying to say
But I'm a sultry motherfucker and I'm coming your way
