"Clothes Off!!" is the fifth single from Gym Class Heroes' third album, As Cruel as School Children. It features vocalist Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. It was released in June 2007, and peaked at number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was a top ten hit in Finland, Ireland and the United Kingdom, peaking at number four, number five and number seven respectively.
The original hook for the song is from Jermaine Stewart's 1986 single "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off".
A remix to the song was released in November 2008 featuring rappers Reef the Lost Cauze and Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan.

We Don't is an album by American jazz saxophonist Jemeel Moondoc with drummer Denis Charles, which was recorded in 1981 but not issued until 2003 by the Eremite label. The title track is a traditional Caribbean tune.
In his review for AllMusic, Steve Loewy states "Jemeel Moondoc and Denis Charles are in outstanding form, with the saxophonist wailing passionately for the length of the album and the drummer egging him on with characteristic panache."
The Penguin Guide to Jazz notes that "Saxophone and drums is a tough discipline, sanctified by John Coltrane's duets with Rashied Ali. These are harsher and more abstract sessions, and the more reallistic parallel might be Ornette Coleman and Ed Blackwell."
The All About Jazz review by Clifford Allen states "As far as continua are concerned, We Don't is neither fire- breathing heaviness nor ice-cold experimentation, but a creative and energetic ride through the dictions of two of the most original voices on their instruments."
The JazzTimes review by Bill Shoemaker says "A passionate duo exchange with alto saxophonist Jemeel Moondoc, We Don't is a fine companion volume to a 1991 recording issued under Charles' leadership, Captain of the Deep, which also featured Moondoc."
"We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" (released in the United Kingdom as "We Don't Have To...") is American R&B vocalist Jermaine Stewart's first of three singles from 1986. The song was included on Stewart's second album Frantic Romantic. "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" remains Stewart's biggest commercial success in both America and Europe.
The song acquired a great deal of success after being used on the hit 1980s television show Miami Vice, and reached number 2 on the UK and Canadian chart, as well as going to number 5 in the U.S. This was Stewart's biggest hit in these countries.
"We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" was written by Narada Michael Walden and Preston Glass. Walden is a well-known American producer, drummer, singer, and songwriter. Stewart recorded it during 1985 and it was released across the world the following summer, reaching the top 10 in both the USA and the UK.
The single seemed to reflect more modesty when it came to sex in light of the AIDS pandemic at the time. In 1988, Stewart was interviewed by Donnie Simpson where Stewart spoke of the lyrical message within the song. "I think it made a lot of peoples' minds open up a little bit. We didn't only want to just talk about clothes, we wanted to extend that. We wanted to use the song as a theme to be able to say you don't have to do all the negative things that society forces on you. You don't have to drink and drive. You don't have to take drugs early. The girls don't have to get pregnant early. So the clothes bit of it was to get people's attention, which it did and I'm glad it was a positive message."
Wayne Wonder (born Von Wayne Charles, 26 July 1972) is a Jamaican reggae fusion (specifically reggae/R&B) artist. While his early recordings were dancehall and reggae, he later moved towards hip hop and rap. His most popular single is "No Letting Go", which just missed the top ten in 2003.
Wonder was born in Buff Bay, Portland, Jamaica. He sang in Sunday school as a child, and began songwriting at the age of 13, getting a major career break when he was given a regular weekly slot at Metro Media in Allman Town. He auditioned at Sonic Sounds studio, but while Sly Dunbar was impressed, his touring commitments with Black Uhuru prevented him from signing Wonder. He had more success, however, with King Tubby, who produced his first single, "Long and Lasting Love", in 1985, with two more following. Wonder's career suffered a setback when Tubby was killed in 1988, and he recorded for several other record producers at Sonic Sound, enjoying a further hit with the Lloyd Dennis-produced "It's Over Now", leading to the release of his first album, No More Chance, although his success in this era was limited. His fortunes improved when he began working with Dave Kelly, a friend from primary school, who had become resident sound engineer at Penthouse Studios. The partnership enjoyed a string of hits, starting with "Saddest Day", and they also worked on Wonder's second album, Part 2. His 1990 live performance of Alphaville's "Forever Young" was recorded and later released to Alphaville fans in a limited, cassette-only album entitled History. He toured the UK in 1992 along with other Penthouse stars Marcia Griffiths, Tony Rebel, and Buju Banton. He also recorded "Bonafide Love (Movie Star)" with Buju Banton, and wrote several early hits for him, including the controversial "Boom Bye Bye". He toured again with Banton in 1994 as part of the Penthouse Showcase.
