License suspensions, both current and future: Bentleyville police blotter

BENTLEYVILLE, Ohio -- Impaired driving, failure to reinstate; Berkshire Park Drive: A Chagrin Falls man, 36, refused a Breathalyzer test after police found him driving -- and then parked on a side street -- without his headlights on, suspecting that he may have been under the influence late on Sept. 29. He also faces an additional charge for driving on a license that was already suspended. The car was not his and was towed from the scene.

Impaired driving, marked lanes of travel; Solon Road: A Cleveland woman, 53, refused a breath test after being stopped for weaving and straddling the double-yellow lines about 1:45 a.m. on Oct. 1. She also continued for some distance after police activated sirens and emergency lights.

Speeding in excess of 21 mph over posted limit; Solon Road: A Cleveland man, 33, will appear in Bedford Municipal Court after being clocked going 59 mph in a 35-mph-zone just before 7 a.m. on Oct. 4.

-- A Kent woman, 25, will also have a mandatory appearance in court after radar showed her going 62 mph in a 35-mph zone shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 30.

Speeding, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia; Cannon Road: After being stopped for going 50 mph in a 35-mph zone on the afternoon of Oct. 3, an Aurora woman, 25, eventually admitted to having small amounts of marijuana in separate containers in her car, as well as a pipe, for which citations were issued.

Driving under suspension, Solon Road: A Chagrin Falls woman, 33, was stopped shortly before 6 p.m. on Sept. 26 for driving on a suspension for non-compliance with Ohio's Financial Responsibility Act. Her car was towed from the scene.

-- A Cleveland woman, 25, was stopped and cited Oct. 4 for driving on an FRA non-compliance suspension follow a random license plate check.

Driving under suspension, Chagrin River Road: A Maple Heights woman, 56, was stopped on a random check of license plates Oct. 6 and found to be driving on a suspended license, for which she was cited and released.
