Right over the beautiful Space Coast, landing runway 27L at Melbourne International Airport. This was on a Delta MD-88 coming from Atlanta. We were lucky having winds from the west during summer, when trade winds typically kick in. Pretty nice landing on this 10000 foot runway.

The chase began in Brevard after the vehicle was seen traveling up to 100 mph on U.S. 1 in Palm Bay. Witnesses said it was darting in and out of the traffic lanes.
Police reported that the vehicle then led officers into Melbourne and at one point came up to railroad tracks that run parallel to U.S. 1. Officers also deployed stop sticks to rip through the tires.

Melbourne (/ˈmɛlbərn/, AU 
i/ˈmɛlbən/) is the capital and most populous city in the Australian state of Victoria, and the second most populous city in Australia and Oceania. Florida
Florida i/ˈflɒrɪdə/ (Spanish for "flowery land") is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. Police reported that the vehicle then led officers into Melbourne and at one point came up to railroad tracks that run parallel to U.S. 1. Officers also deployed stop sticks to rip through the tires.

Officer Derek Middendorf of the Melbourne Florida Police Department attempted to disable his police cruiser camera before beating Albert Flowers a 66 year old man who suffers from dementia. Officer Derek Middendorf was only able to disable the audio recording on the camera. The command of the Melbourne Police force found that the use and level of force was justified. The 21st Annual Melbourne Florida Light Parade had its route changed this year to Hibiscus Blvd from US 192 as it had been in the past. The weather was perfect and all the children had a great time. Unfortunately the organization lost a major contributor this year and it seemed a little smaller than usual. As a yearly tradition it did its job. -

Unfortunately the organization lost a major contributor this year and it seemed a little smaller than usual. As a yearly tradition it did its job.

Florida judge who punished victim will be reprimanded

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A central Florida judge who jailed a domestic violence victim for not showing up to testify against her alleged abuser faces sanctions from the state Supreme Court. The court on Thursday ordered that Seminole County Judge Jerri Collins take an anger management class and attend a domestic violence course.
