After 11 years in Coral Gables, Anacapri Italian Restaurant has closed its doors at 2530 Ponce de Leon Blvd.

Owner Giuseppe Zuozo opened the restaurant on Miracle Mile in 2004, then moved it three years later to a larger space around the corner. Anacapri on Ponce served its final meal about a week ago.

It is the second Anacapri to close this year: The restaurant’s Miami Springs location, at 17 Westward Dr., shuttered several months ago.

The original Anacapri, 12669 S. Dixie Hwy. in Pinecrest, which includes a wine bar and Italian market, will remain open, a manager said Monday. That restaurant recently celebrated its 25th year in business, having opened in 1990.
