Frolic! Five-0

Frolic five-0

Aloha party people!

Sorry it’s been a while- seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find places for a good Frolic! these days.

We’ve not been idle: FrolicControl is always searchin’, never perchin’

And we have a sighting to report…

What is that?

Approaching over the horizon…

Is it a huge tsunami of tunes and good times?

It most certainly is!

We are pleased and excited to announce:

Frolic Five-O!

Saturday 3rd October

Crashing to the shores of a top secret seaside location. Out of town- but not far (and not in Brighton…).

More details to follow, but for now…

Keep the date, spread the word…

October the Third.

Book ’em Dan-O!

Frolic! Out standing in our field…

…and we’d love it if you could join us, under the stars, for an evening of funk-fuelled fun and frivolity!

The field in question has requested anonymity- all we can say right now is it’s about a 20-25 minute walk from Lewes, but all will be revealed to lucky ticket holders 48hrs before the event.

It’s pretty much just a field right now, so there’s a lot to sort out- we reckon if we charge £9 and there’s enough of you, we can cover our costs- if we do make anything it will go to Phoenix Rising.

Full line up tbc closer to the time, but you know how we roll!

Numbers have to be limited, so don’t hang about- get your tickets here

Warm front approaching….

So, what’s the forecast looking like for the weekend?

The first flushes of Spring will bring those of us with the urge to Frolic! an early evening shower of funk and soul, with occasional spells of eclecticness, courtesy of the Long Man, followed by a surprisingly tropical spell of reggae and jungle from the warm front of Gentleman Jim Price.

Around midnight, conditions will become a little more unpredictable as the Mighty Alboy rains down spring shower of sounds of various tempos, with a strong chance of bleepiness, particularly when the high pressure belt of P McDiddy hits in the early morning.

Overall, the outlook is friendly, funky, bassy, possibly a little messy, but with a strong chance of fun and excitement throughout.

If you haven’t already, better get yourself a ticket!
