Perth's weather rollercoaster is set to continue, with temperatures see-sawing as WA makes its way into spring.
Wednesday's forecast top of 32 degrees will be the city's warmest day since April 23 - the last time Perth experienced a 30 degree day.
Temperatures are set to drop back down again by the weekend and settle around 17 degrees for a chilly Saturday..
Bureau of Meteorology duty forecaster Meghan Johnston said the yo-yoing temperatures were the result of a summer trough entering the west coast on Wednesday, closely followed by a cold front on Thursday.
"On Wednesday, we can expect warm north easterly winds coming from inland, and then cold north westerly winds coming from over the ocean on Thursday," she said.
