About the Author

Jerry Kang is Vice Chancellor of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Professor of Law, Professor of Asian American Studies, and the Korea Times – Hankook Ilbo Chair in Korean American Studies and Law at UCLA. He’s been a faculty member of UCLA since 1995, with visits and fellowships at Harvard, Georgetown, and NYU law schools. Besides communications law, his research interests include implicit social cognition and critical race studies. Alan Butler is Senior Counsel at the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) in Washington, DC. He holds a J.D. from UCLA School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. He frequently publishes legal briefs and articles on emerging communications privacy issues. His articles have appeared in the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy, the New England Law Review, and the American University Law Review. His commentaries have been published in the New York Times, the Daily Journal, Just Security, and other periodicals.

Dry, boring....and never gets to the point. When the authors explain things, they take forever to do so or try to simplify without really simplifying it. Very annoying for an already tedious subject-matter.
