Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are being accused of fabricating Kim's Paris robbery.
According to Digital Music News, French officials are questioning whether Kardashian and West made up the entire story of the robbery -- which allegedly involves five people -- due to a lack of evidence and certain things not adding up.
Many have pointed out that Kardashian and her one watchman escaped immediately despite having been tied up.
Information obtained by TMZ revealed that there is no security footage of the crime whatsoever. All five men involved in the robbery managed to avoid all of the hotel's surveillance cameras, both inside and outside of the building. One security camera reportedly shows no activity at all on the night of the incident.
Even French Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer has suspicions about the validity of the story.
"Even Kardashian's thief, if there is one, believes that all that jewelry is insured," Justice Breyer said. "So, it's not theft?"
Breyer added, "Wouldn't you think that was fraud?" According to TMZ, Breyer continued to joke about Kardashian's jewelry being on loan and suggested that perhaps it is not hers at all.
Another shocking fact in the case is that French police reportedly have no leads or suspects in connection with the robbery. According to Digital Music News, not one person has been detained as a suspect.
Some have pointed out the similarities between Kardashian's robbery story and Ryan Lochte's. Lochte made headlines at the Rio Olympics after he claimed that he was robbed at gunpoint by men dressed as police officers and was soon found to have lied about the whole thing.
Lochte was shamed for creating a story that damaged the reputation of Rio, which some are accusing Kardashian and West of doing in Paris.
