I’m not one to stray from tradition. I’m talking about a dragon in the background, as black as…. uh… AC/DC? Peering at our antagonist will be a huge white wolf and her damsel companion holding the tiniest of flames. Remember, I am also talking traditional proportions here, so make sure nothing is sized relative to anything else. Now who’s up for some Hells’ Bells?

Bulbous!
Still, as with all the covers here, nice work if you can get it.

How stealthy can a dragon be?

How despairing can a dragon be?
The wolf looks pretty mean though.

Does the wolf have a mild case of gigantism in the head?
Also the “damsel” looks like one of the Hansons. btw SI you seriously need to take down their posters off your wall. Not cool, never was 😉

Who posed the model?
I’m surprised the dragon is bothering to creep up behind her, she’s obviously no warrior. She just looks like a stropy teenager.

A stropy teenager who clearly looks like she has time to put on some make-up during her adventures!
AND you leave my Hanson posters alone…. actually just joking about having one just made me a little ill.
Is it wrong to decorate your house with terrible book covers?

I decorate my house with terrible books…
Seems normal to me.

Excellent! 😀
Wonder where one can order a life sized poster of Man-Kzin Wars IX 😀

Blind Seer (the wolf) is supposed to by huge; he’s a ROYAL wolf. The Dragon is Despairing because he’s been trapped in a cave thing and tortured for ages and Firekeeper (makeup notwithsanding) is supposed to be a feral girl; raised by wolves (Royal Wolves :-> )

That’s NOT how you hold a lit torch… you try that, you’ll burn your hand for sure!

@Susan: you wouldn’t happen to be the younger relative of the author, would you? 🙂
The other books in the series have generally better art. At least they get basic human and lupine anatomy straight. You’ll notice that both wolf and companion have rather wilted limbs.
