(updated 19 May 2016) With our recent rebrand to Aabaco Small Business from Yahoo, there are some specifics you need to know about your account and billing that have changed. Here are some frequently asked questions: If your domain is hosted by a company other than Yahoo, you will need to update the nameservers that you’re pointing to. We’ll be providing detailed instructions when the time comes. If your domain name is hosted by Yahoo, you will not need to make any changes. 5. How will I renew my services? For the time being, all services will be renewed through a new process. A member of our team will contact you by email when your services are up for renewal. You can also contact Customer Care to renew your services. 6. Will I still be able to pay for my services with cash or check? We will no longer be accepting cash or check payments for services. Any previous payments you have made with cash or check are fully accounted for, and we will be contacting you by email when your services are up for renewal. At that time, you will be able to pay by credit, debit or net banking. 7. Will prices for my services remain the same? We do not have plans to change the prices for our products and services in association with the rebrand. 8. What changes will I see when I log in? Your Control Panel will have a bit of a facelift, but all features you have today (excluding the option to upgrade/downgrade) will still be there. With this change, you will manage your billing within your dashboard, under My Account. You will also have access to a new feature called Live Insights, an app that gives you real time visitor tracking, analytics and insights for ecommerce. With this new feature you will not have access to any historical data related to your website. 9. Is there anything else I need to do? Yes. If you have not yet done so, please create a new Aabaco ID and password to access your services. Yahoo has decided to suspend work on the spin-off of Aabaco Holdings, which also includes Aabaco Small Business. Read more. 12. Why do I see luminate.com for some site pages and my Control Panel? Long story, short: We had to move all sites and servers off of the Yahoo domain as part of the previously planned spin preparations. At the time, luminate.com was the planned product brand, but Yahoo decided to instead adopt the company name Aabaco Small Business as our brand. You may see the luminate.com domain used for some time. 13. Is there someone I can contact if I have questions? Of course. If you have specific product or account questions, please contact Customer Care, as you normally would. Please do not send any personally identifiable information via email. |
