Mark Henn

Mark Henn is a Disney animator, whose contributions to animation have included several Disney leading or title characters, most notably heroines. His work includes Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, Young Simba in The Lion King and Mulan in Mulan. He has also been animator of such films as 2007's Enchanted and the Goofy short How to Hook Up Your Home Theater. Additionally he directed the award-winning short film John Henry. Recently, he was the supervising animator of Princess Tiana in The Princess and the Frog.

Early life

Henn grew up in Ohio. In 1978, Henn was accepted into the Character Animation program at the California Institute of the Arts. where he studied under Disney animators such as Jack Hannah and T. Hee. Fellow students included Joe Ranft, Mark Dindal and John Lasseter.

Career

Henn joined the Disney studio in 1980 and began work as an inbetweener for Glen Keane on The Fox and the Hound. According to Henn, Keane was finishing the climactic bear fight scene and Henn worked with him on that. Henn has also worked on other animated features such as Mickey's Christmas Carol, The Great Mouse Detective and The Little Mermaid.

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast (French: La Belle et la Bête) is a traditional fairy tale written by French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and published in 1740 in La Jeune Américaine et les contes marins. Her lengthy version was abridged, rewritten, and published by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont in 1756 in Magasin des enfants to produce the version most commonly retold.

Variants of the tale are known across Europe. In France, for example, Zémire et Azor is an operatic version of the story, written by Marmontel and composed by Grétry in 1771, which had enormous success well into the 19th century; it is based on the second version of the tale. Amour pour amour, by Nivelle de la Chaussée, is a 1742 play based on Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve's version. According to researchers at universities in Durham and Lisbon, the story originated around 4,000 years ago.

The 25th Anniversary album is the fifteenth album by the Irish folk and rebel band The Wolfe Tones, released in 1989 by Shanachie Records. It is a greatest hits album featuring both recordings from previous albums as well as new recordings unique to this record. New recordings include "Broad Black Brimmer" with an electric guitar and drums played during the final verse, "James Connolly", "Banna Strand", "Monsignor Horan", and "Come Out Ye Black and Tans", among others.

This album is the last album to feature Derek Warfield and is the last to be recorded until 2001 due to contract issues.
