Say it ain't so! If you insist on breaking our hearts, log in to your account and visit your Account Settings. Scroll down until you see the “Account Status” section and follow the steps for deleting. This will remove your account and all your content from Vimeo. We'll miss you.

Deleting your account (or any individual piece of content, like a video or comment) will remove it from public view on Vimeo. After deletion, we may retain some of your content on our internal servers for a period of time in case you wish to restore it or for certain legal purposes. Your account will not be viewable to the public during this time. We recommend that you exercise caution when deleting your account because we cannot guarantee that you will be able to restore your content once you have deleted it.

Please note that deleting videos, avatars, comments, or descriptions may not ensure complete or comprehensive removal because third parties may have reposted your material and search engines may have indexed or cached it before you deleted it. We have no control over third party sites or search engine results.

Scroll down until you see the “Delete your account” section and follow the instructions. This will permanently remove your account and all your videos, collections, likes, comments, etc. from Vimeo. If you're having trouble logging in, please make sure you are using the correct email address and password. If you've forgotten your password, no need to worry. Resetting it is a completely painless process.

It's a bummer, but, you know, forgetting happens to the best of us. If you can't remember your password, just go to the log in screen and click “Forgot your password?” Enter your email address and we'll send you a link to reset it. Phew, crisis averted.

Head to your Account Settings, scroll down until you see the Password section, then click Change Password. You'll be prompted to enter your current password, then you can create a new one. Confirm it by typing your new password a second time, click Save Password, and find someone to high five. You did it!

Sure thing, chicken wing. Head to your Account Settings and click Add another email. Then, check the inbox of your current primary address and verify the new email address you added.

To use that new email as your main address for logging in and receiving notification emails, click the Make default email button right next to it.

To change the email address associated with your Vimeo account, go  to the Account tab in your Account Settings and click the Add another email address link. You’ll be prompted to enter the new email address and your current password. When you do this, a notification email will be sent to your secondary email address asking you to verify it. You must be logged in to your account to verify the secondary address.

To use the new email address as your primary address for logging in and receiving notification emails, click the Make primary link next to it.

You can add multiple addresses to your Vimeo account and log in with any of them, but you can only have one primary address and password. All email notifications will be sent to your primary address and the same password will be used for any email address that is added to your account.

We send you emails so you can stay up to date with what's happening in our world. And because we love you. And because we're chatty. If someone comments on your video, or follows you, we send you an email to let you know.

If you'd rather not get so many emails, you can always change your notification settings in the Advanced tab of your Account Settings. Don't forget to save!

Yep. You can link your Vimeo account to Facebook and Twitter to share your likes and uploads with your followers. Go to the Apps tab of your Account Settings and follow the prompts — your accounts will be connected ASAP.
