Plot: Twenty years ago, Britain went to war to regain the Falkland Islands. The Falklands Play is a gripping account of how Margaret Thatcher's government handled the biggest crisis in British foreign affairs since Suez. It tells the story of how Argentina - an ally of the British - fought the Conservative government and invaded sovereign British territory. This play charts the backroom manoeuvrings between Thatcher's government and the military, between the British and the Americans, and the Americans and the Argentineans that led to a breakdown in diplomacy, to war and to Britain's eventual victory.

The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, Bilderberg meetings or Bilderberg Club is an annual private conference of 120 to 150 people of the European and North American political elite, experts from industry, finance, academia, and the media, established in 1954.
WeAreChange.NL reports from Bilderberg2016 in Dresden. We saw Sylvie Goulard (ALDE-MEP) arrive, leave the hotel and later talk to Thomas Enders (CEO-Airbus). It is no coincidence that one of the topics of Bilderberg 2016 is Brexit and that both persons are very negative about Brexit. We also asked Enders who came past us, for a short comment on this. Since 1954 the Bilderberg has been an EU-lobbying and networking club, advised by Rockefeller, whose influence reaches far and wide. As CEO of leading aerospace and defence company EADS, Tom Enders marks the occasion by exploring some of the other barriers that need to be broken for UK engineering to continue driving economic and industrial growth. Throughout the last 200 years, the world has seen repeated economic cycles that turned on the latest technological advances, from the steam engine and electricity to the microchip and, of course, air travel. At each turn, the pace has become quicker, the competition stiffer and the stakes higher; a situation that will accelerate with the arrival of new ar...
