An object found in bushland north of Perth thought to be a possible explosive device has been declared not hazardous after the police bomb squad was sent to investigate.
A police spokesperson said an item was found by a member of the public just after 2pm near Alvarez Park on Waldburg Drive in Tapping.
She said a number of roads were closed in the area, which has now been cleared.
