My first time, it's a great place to hang out and waiting for sunset... But to me is too crowded. I saw few choices for non-alcohol drinks, I like it so much. For the newbie in this place, Staff are really great in explaining the area, which one that you can just get it without prior reservation, and which area that are reserved areas. I also don't like the way they put the permanent stage in the center, where it's blocking the beach view. They could place it abit to the left, so everyone still can enjoy the beach..

I had a great time in Potato head albeit only for an hour ! It was my mom's birthday and we came to chill a bit before leaving Bali. I asked the staff if they could play happy birthday song but they said they couldn't but instead, they came with a delicious Tiramisu cake, candle and sang !

I think it was the first occasion ever for my mom to have been given a surprise birthday party that way and I'm sure it's an unforgetable experience for her - she's almost 60 ! Thanks Potato Head and the staffs that I forgot to ask the name for (although I have his picture and video !) !

Great atmosphere and DJ playing chill out music all day. The staff was great and knowledgable about the cocktails that we ordered to make sure that we would like it. The pool was surprisingly not overcrowded until early evening and the sunset was exactly as you'd hope for.

However, the cocktails are expensive and full of ice. And the food portions are on the small side with western prices.

We had dinner here 2 years ago and it was fantastic. We went back tonight and we're very disappointed. The menu has become so western, basic room service type food. The cocktails were great and the staff lovely when we asked if we could get a seat at the near by Movida restaurant instead. I would warn others who remember the old potato head. Now it has a very Kuta vibe :s

We were there last year and we're really enchanted by the atmosphere and cocktails. This year the quality and service seem to go down. I tried 3 cocktails: first two were full of ice cubes which not acceptable, and the third one was a wrong cocktail. When I asked the waiters to change it, they refused and said that I had ordered the wrong one... This is how the place becomes a victim of its own success.

The view was beautiful, however when ordering our meals 2 of the options we wanted on the menu was unavailable at 7pm. We then ordered and our meals arrived an hour later. And one meal did not come until all the other meals had been finished. Meals were overpriced for the size and quality of the food.

I came last year in June. I was really enchanted!! I was really excitee to come back this year. But the experience was totally different. The staff is unpleasant, the cocktails are at least 80% ice, 15% juice ans maybe a really few % of alcohool. The inhouse cocktails were amazing one year ago. This year they were tastless maybe due to the 80% of ice... What a disapointment!

My partner and I was there on Sept 10th for nearly 4 hours and there's one waiter that was attending us all the time and he was GREAT, unfortunately we didn't get his name, but he was super nice and he made our stay there so comfortable. Service like that is definitely one you must retain! :)

Place was great. Service was fabulous. Drinks and food great. BUT.... be careful with the quotes you get from the concierge for the fare home. We were quoted 60,000 (cost less than 50,000 to get there). When we arrived he wanted 100,000. And then (despite being reassured by the concierge that he would) said he didn't have change.
