Đà Nẵng ( listen) is one of the major port cities in Vietnam (in addition to Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong) and the biggest city on the Central Vietnam; the city is situated on the coast of the Eastern Sea, at the opening end of the Hàn River. Đà Nẵng is the commercial and educational center of Central Vietnam, with a well-sheltered, easily accessible port; its location on the path of National Route 1A and the North–South Railway makes it a hub for transportation. It is located within 100 km of several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Imperial City of Huế, the Old Town of Hội An, and the Mỹ Sơn ruins. The city was previously known as Cửa Hàn during early Đại Việt settlement, and as Tourane (or Turon) during French colonial rule. It is the third biggest economic center in Vietnam (after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi).
Before 1997, the city was part of Quảng Nam-Đà Nẵng Province. On 1 January 1997, Đà Nẵng was separated from Quảng Nam Province to become one of five independent (centrally controlled) municipalities in Vietnam. Đà Nẵng is listed as a first class city, and has a higher urbanization ratio than any of Vietnam's other provinces or centrally governed cities. In terms of urban population, Đà Nẵng is the fifth largest city in Vietnam.

Wondering what to do in Da Nang? There are a lot of attractions but here's my top 5 on things to do in the city center. These activities can easily be combined in one day! We start with some history and culture in the Museum of Cham sculptures in the city center. Not far from the museum u will find Han Market, one of the main local markets in Da Nang. Of course Da Nang is also famous for it's local food. Grab some street food or try some of the many local specialties (Pho, Mi Quang, Banh Xeo etc.) to fill your stomach. In the evening Han Riverside is the place to be. It's the center of Da Nang by night. To finish the day, why not go to the SkyBar 36 and enjoy a cold drink with an amazing view surrounding you! Da Nang is my favorite modern city in Vietnam and it's a prime representation of how beautiful and how Vietnam is heading in the right direction. Da Nang is clean, the streets are wide, and the skyline is developing really quickly. The first thing Ngoc and I did was visit Asia Park because of the Sun Wheel. This ferris wheel is the main attraction to a very scenic area where many residents and locals hang out. Entrance fees are only a few dollars and there are a lot of activities, especially for younger children. Unfortunately, when we were there, the wheel did not work. Afterwards we took a cab to Tran Huong Dao St. along the Han River. We started off at the Han River Bridge and made our way down towards the Dragon Bridge. This is where I met two local Da Nang natives and spoke with them...
Da Nang’s stunning coastline is over 90km in total length. The city boasts numerous pristine beautiful beaches with bleached-white sand and crystal-clear blue water. My Khe Beach is recognised as one of the most ideal beach of Da Nang City, international tourists came here for convalescence and relaxation. My Khe beach is 900m long and is popular with both locals and visitors. Once listed in the US Forbes Magazine as one of the 6 most beautiful beaches in the world, it is an idyllic beach with smooth sand and a gentle slope. The beach has hotels, restaurants, drinks stalls, and other services which create favourable conditions for visitors to relax. There are also a number of high-end resorts nearby should you be in need of pampering, with most offering a rich choice of treatments at...

When I spent two months in Vietnam my boyfriend surprised me with a 2 week trip across this beautiful country. In order to have the full experience we decided to travel from North to South by train, and then take a plane back to Ha Noi. Our first destination was Da Nang City, where we visited Andy. We didn't spend much time in the city itself. First night just walking next to Hàn River. On the first day we visited Ba Na Hills and on the second one we checked out the beautiful Hoi An. I planed this episode to contain all Da Nang related videos but when editing I realized it is way too much :) So here I just include the time and meals we spent in Da Nang and up next I will talk to you more in depth about Ba Na Hills and Hoi An. I really hope you enjoy this video, it might be a bit too lo...

Christine and her family travel from Da Nang to Hoi An on motorbike, and Lena takes them to eat the famous foods of this historical town, including cao lau (the legendary noodles of Hoi An), mi quang, banh bao vac, and a sandwich shop highly regarded by Anthony Bourdain. That evening, back in Da Nang, Christine meets Summer, the runner-up of her Da Nang food guide contest, and together, they eat some more fantastic noodles: bun bo and bun mam. Christine loves discovering new dishes in different regions of Vietnam and, of course, sharing a meal (or many) with her family and newfound friends.

Travel video about destination Vietnam. North Vietnam is still ruled by communism but in the south the hammer and sickle fades into capitalism that is gradually beginning to dominate all. One country and two lifestyles, Vietnam has opened up its borders. It is a country of beautiful landscapes, amicable people and a great cultural heritage.Hanoi is North Vietnam’s lively capital city located in the north of the country and set amid the delta plains of the Red River. Surprisingly, the train (SE3) is clean and very comfortable. The sleeper cabins were also very affordable. In Da Nang we ate at Banh Xeo Ba Duong which had some delicious Central region banh xeo. Then we came over to Nina's dad's cousins house where she met them for the first time and also where they fed up local and American products. Later in the night we ate some fresh coconut jelly - rau cau dua and then walked along the stunning but smelly Da Nang river side where I discussed how wonderful a modern Vietnam can be. Not only will this help the peopl...

It was beautiful and very unique for Vietnam. The weather up there was perfect and the cable car was breath taking. It was very expensive though at 600,000 Dong a person. The arcade was free for the most part. Then we went to Hoi An right away and randomly came upon the best thing I ever ate in Hoi An, the best banh canh ever at 580 Cua Dai St. Opens 3PM to 7PM only. You can be my love
I will be there ...
Whenever you just walk on by

I got shonuffa skills 'n I know what I'm talking 'bout
You might think that I'm too young but yo I got it goin on
And coz I'm young my rhymes they kickin fresh and strong
I saw you once or twice on my way home back from school
You's lookin fly, so I said "hi", but you was actin cool
I thought okay no way to stay and that's alright alright
I passed away - another chance, another day or night
So little do you know about the funkyness inside me
So come a little closer boy and don't you try da fight me
Honesty's a must but you and me can let it go
I touch your mind - I free your soul - commom now feel the flow
Refrain (2x)
Okeydokey - I'm collin with my best friend
I try to explain her, she says: Girl you better understand
This guy is just no good for you, he gamin on you sister
I know but hey what can I do - I like da funky mister
Saturday night and I'm feelin kinda lonely
Everyone's with someone - and me? I am the only
Not to have a cuty, na, do you think that's fair?
These guys just wanna booty - but I don't even care
There he is, my shining star, he's with a bunch of brothers
Smilin at me, comin to me, boy you're like no other
"Hi, my name's Vandell, I liked the way you smiled at me
I know this does sound kinda fast, but I do look for company"
Boy oh boy, didn't you recognize me yesterday?
My heart goes boum boum, no I can't let him get away
Stay baby stay until the break of day
I'll show you love. I'll bring you joy but anyway
Refrain (2x)
