Since they have largely shunned interactions with outsiders, many particulars of their society, culture and traditions are poorly understood. Their name means "people of the earth" or "hostile people" in Aka-Bea.

Kebrutalan jawara karena warga akan menyegel pabrik yang sudah merugikan warga selama 1 tahun,akibat dari limbah yang di keluarkan PT.CBA.sekitar 42 hektar lahan warga tidak bisa ditanami apapun.di TKP terdapat aparat kepolisian. namun namun pihak polisi tidak mau berperan..malah ikut membubarkan warga buakan melakukan atnisipasi atau mengamankan para pelaku....Jawara Biadab dan Polisinya punjuga...Kami menduga Anarkis yang dilakukan Pihak PT.CBA di rencanakan dgn sepengetahuan Aparat Kepolisia Jawilan Serang Banten

Sinopsis :
Tersebutlah Sakti, ia terbukti curang dalam sayembara memperebutkan Nyimas Ayu putri dari Abah Sugidiraja sang pemimpin Kadusunan Kidul. Sakti membunuh seluruh Jawara dari luar Kadusunan agar dirinya tak tertandingi dan dapat menikahi Nyimas Ayu.
Tak ada satupun Jawara yang datang dalam Sayembara, tetapi masih ada pemuda yang akan melawan Sakti yakni Prabu yang juga mencintai Nyimas Ayu. Sakti dan Prabu adalah kakak beradik yang terkenal sebagai Jawara dari dalam Kadusunan Kidul, seharusnya mereka tidak berhak memperebutkan Nyi Mas Ayu melalui sayembara, karena Sayembara tersebut sebenarnya ditujukan untuk Jawara dari Kadusunan luar.
Demi rakyat yang menginginkan sayembara tetap berjalan, Abah memutuskan agar Sakti dan Prabu bertarung, Namun di akhir sayembara keputusan Abah berubah menjadi sebuah hukuman untuk Sakti karena kecurangannya. Hukuman tersebut membuat Sakti dendam kepada Abah sehingga Nyimas Ayu menjadi sasaran balas dendam melalui Ilmu hitam, tanpa disadari dendam tersebut berujung malapetaka.

Mereka adalah para para jawara. Bersatu dalam wadah silat tradisional betawi, dengan aliran Beksi, di Lumbuk, atau Lembaga Usaha Melestarikan Budaya dan Seni Kota Depok, di Gandul, Cinere.
Lumbuk, adalah sebuah wadah berkumpulnya sanggar-sanggar silat yang ada di kota depok. Hingga saat ini tercatat ada 65 perguruan silat yang ada di Kota Depok berkumpul di Lumbuk. Mereka disatukan dalam satu aliran silat yang sama, yaitu Beksi. Lumbuk punya tujuan melestarikan budaya Betawi. Depok yang punya ada 2 kultur kebudayaan yaitu Jawa Barat dan Betawi ingin disatukan dalam sebuah wadah budaya. Tak hanya silat, di Saung Beksi Gandul ini, kesenian-kesenian khas betawi lainnya ikut dilestarikan. Mulai dari pembuatan golok yang biasa dipakai para jawara, ondel-ondel, gamang kromo, kesenian debus, hingga batu-batu cincin. Semua diproduksi sendiri oleh tim-tim kreatif Lumbuk.
Beksi berasal dari kata Bie yang artinya pertahanan dan Sie yang artinya empat penjuru mata angin. Gerakan dari aliran ini utamanya meliputi gerakan antisipasi, bukan menyerang. Filosofi itu sesuai dengan apa yang biasa dibilang orang betawi, lo jual gue beli.

Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara, GCMG (born May 16, 1924) was the first leader of The Gambia, serving first as Prime Minister from 1962 to 1970 and then as President from 1970 to 1994.
He was initially trained as a veterinary surgeon at the Glasgow veterinary school he then moved to complete his training at Liverpool University. From 1962 until 1970, when the country was a Commonwealth realm with Elizabeth II as head of state, Jawara was Prime Minister and head of government; a 1970 referendum made the country a republic, and Jawara became the nation's first president on April 24 of that year.
Born Kairaba Jawara on May 16, 1924 at Barajally, MacCarthy Island Division (now Central River Division). His parents were Mamma Fatty and Almami Jawara, Sir Dawda was educated at the Methodist Boys’ High School in colonial Bathurst (now Banjul), then attended Achimota College in Ghana, he then finished his studies at the University of Glasgow.
Dawda Jawara was born in 1924 to Almammi Jawara and Mamma Fatty in the village of Barajally Tenda in the central region of The Gambia, approximately 150 miles from the capital, Bathurst. One of six sons, Dawda is the lastborn on his mother’s side and a younger brother to sister Na Ceesay and brothers Basaddi and Sheriffo Jawara. Their father Almammi, who had several wives, was a well-to-do trader who commuted from Barajally Tenda to his trading post in Wally Kunda. Dawda from an early age attended the local Arabic schools to memorize the Quran, a rite of passage for many Gambian children. Needless to say, there were no primary schools in Barajally Tenda; the nearest was in Georgetown, the provincial capital, but this boarding school was reserved for the sons of the chiefs.

Jawara Betawi dari Beksi Gandul
Mereka adalah para para jawara. Bersatu dalam wadah silat tradisional betawi, dengan aliran Beksi, di Lumbuk, atau Lembaga Usaha Melestarikan Budaya dan Seni Kota Depok, di Gandul, Cinere. Lumbuk, adalah sebuah wadah berkumpulnya sanggar-sanggar silat yang ada di kota depok. Hingga saat ini tercatat ada 65 perguruan silat yang ada di Kota Depok berkumpul di Lumbuk. Mereka disatukan dalam satu aliran silat yang sama, yaitu Beksi. Lumbuk punya tujuan melestarikan budaya Betawi. Depok yang punya ada 2 kultur kebudayaan yaitu Jawa Barat dan Betawi ingin disatukan dalam sebuah wadah budaya. Tersebutlah Sakti, ia terbukti curang dalam sayembara memperebutkan Nyimas Ayu putri dari Abah Sugidiraja sang pemimpin Kadusunan Kidul. Sakti membunuh seluruh Jawara dari luar Kadusunan agar dirinya tak tertandingi dan dapat menikahi Nyimas Ayu.
Tak ada satupun Jawara yang datang dalam Sayembara, tetapi masih ada pemuda yang akan melawan Sakti yakni Prabu yang juga mencintai Nyimas Ayu. Sakti dan Prabu adalah kakak beradik yang terkenal sebagai Jawara dari dalam Kadusunan Kidul, seharusnya mereka tidak berhak memperebutkan Nyi Mas Ayu melalui sayembara, karena Sayembara tersebut sebenarnya ditujukan untuk Jawara dari Kadusunan luar.

Hukuman tersebut membuat Sakti dendam kepada Abah sehingga Nyimas Ayu menjadi sasaran balas dendam melalui Ilmu hitam, tanpa disadari dendam tersebut berujung malapetaka.

Mereka adalah para para jawara. Bersatu dalam wadah silat tradisional betawi, dengan aliran Beksi, di Lumbuk, atau Lembaga Usaha Melestarikan Budaya dan Seni Kota Depok, di Gandul, Cinere.
Lumbuk, adalah sebuah wadah berkumpulnya sanggar-sanggar silat yang ada di kota depok. Hingga saat ini tercatat ada 65 perguruan silat yang ada di Kota Depok berkumpul di Lumbuk. Mereka disatukan dalam satu aliran silat yang sama, yaitu Beksi. Lumbuk punya tujuan melestarikan budaya Betawi. Depok yang punya ada 2 kultur kebudayaan yaitu Jawa Barat dan Betawi ingin disatukan dalam sebuah wadah budaya. Tak hanya silat, di Saung Beksi Gandul ini, kesenian-kesenian khas betawi lainnya ikut dilestarikan. Mulai dari pembuatan golok yang biasa dipakai para jawara, ondel-ondel, gamang kromo, kesenian debus, hingga batu-batu cincin. Semua diproduksi sendiri oleh tim-tim kreatif Lumbuk.
Beksi berasal dari kata Bie yang artinya pertahanan dan Sie yang artinya empat penjuru mata angin. Gerakan dari aliran ini utamanya meliputi gerakan antisipasi, bukan menyerang. Filosofi itu sesuai dengan apa yang biasa dibilang orang betawi, lo jual gue beli.
