Ce film d'une vingtaine de minutes raconte l'histoire d'un commencement. 250 000 Québécois se sont rencontrés il y a de cela 2 ans aujourd'hui. Un citoyen du Québec sur trente-deux était de la grande marche orchestrée par Dominic Champagne le 22 avril 2012, au nom d'une cause qui nous rejoint tous: le bien commun. Dominic m'a demandé de capturer l'image qui définirait notre printemps érable, nous offrant le beau symbole d'un arbre.
Plus de 200 volontaires ont participé en son, en image, en partageant leur journée, leurs contacts, leurs équipements, leurs musique, leurs temps, leurs créativité, et leur bonne volonté. I had the immense pleasure and privilege of working with some of the greatest talent I've ever been in contact with, many of whom didn't have any particular political stance, and might not have usually been activists. I was one of those, given the great responsibility of capturing a message I had not been close to until then. I felt this gave me some perspective on the issues, the slogans, the fellowship that developed in Montreal that great summer of 2012. I would be lying if I told you I didn't get caught by the wave that took us over then. Something awoke in me that day, perhaps the idea that caring is easier when we are together, when we are many.
It was a summer of possibilities, and while only two years have passed, history has already repeated itself twice over. How does 22 avril 2012, and the rest of that summer resonate now? What do we see, objectively, if not pure brotherly love?

San Francisco
San Francisco (/sæn frənˈsɪskoʊ/), officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the cultural, commercial, and financial center of Northern California and the only consolidated city-county in California. San Francisco encompasses a land area of about 46.9 square miles (121 km2) on the northern end of the San Francisco Peninsula, which makes it the smallest county in the state. New Orleans
New Orleans (/nuː ˈɔːrlɪnz/,/nuː ˈɔːrliənz/, /nuː ɔːrˈliːnz/, or /ˈnɔːrlənz/; French: La Nouvelle-Orléans [la nuvɛlɔʁleɑ̃]) is a major United States port and the largest city and the center of the metropolitan area in the state of Louisiana. The population of the city was 343,829 as of the 2010 U.S. Census. The New Orleans metropolitan area (New Orleans–Metairie–Kenner Metropolitan Statistical Area) had a population of 1,167,764 in 2010 and was the 46th largest in the United States. The New Orleans–Metairie–Bogalusa Combined Statistical Area, a larger trading area, had a 2010 population of 1,452,502.
The city is named after the Duke of Orleans, who reigned as Regent for Louis XV from 1715 to 1723, as it was established by French colonists and strongly influenced by their European culture. It is well known for its distinct French and Spanish Creole architecture, as well as its cross-cultural and multilingual heritage. New Orleans is also famous for its cuisine, music (particularly as the birthplace of jazz), and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras, dating to French colonial times. The city is often referred to as the "most unique" in the United States.

DJ BoBo
Peter René Cipiriano Baumann (born 5 January 1968), better known as DJ BoBo, is a Swiss singer, songwriter, dancer and music producer. He has sold 14 million records worldwide and has released 12 studio albums as well as a few compilation albums which have included his previous hits in a reworked format. DJ BoBo has also released as many as 34 singles to date, some of which have charted quite high, not only in German speaking countries, but also in other European territories.
As a dance music producer, his first big success came with the single "Somebody Dance with Me", which borrows its melody from Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me. After this, he charted well with the singles "Keep on Dancing", "Take Control", "Everybody", "Let the Dream Come True", "Love Is All Around", "Freedom", "Pray" and "What a Feeling", as well as "Chihuahua", almost all of which comprised fast-paced Eurodance techno sound with female catchy refrains and rap performed by René. Between 1992 through 2007, he had 27 single chart-hits in Switzerland and Germany, and has won 10 World Music Awards for being Switzerland's best selling artist. René has received numerous Gold and Platinum certifications for his singles and albums and has found success in Europe (primarily in Germany and Switzerland), Asia and South America.

Ce film d'une vingtaine de minutes raconte l'histoire d'un commencement. 250 000 Québécois se sont rencontrés il y a de cela 2 ans aujourd'hui. Un citoyen du Québec sur trente-deux était de la grande marche orchestrée par Dominic Champagne le 22 avril 2012, au nom d'une cause qui nous rejoint tous: le bien commun. Dominic m'a demandé de capturer l'image qui définirait notre printemps érable, nous offrant le beau symbole d'un arbre. Plus de 200 volontaires ont participé en son, en image, en partageant leur journée, leurs contacts, leurs équipements, leurs musique, leurs temps, leurs créativité, et leur bonne volonté. I had the immense pleasure and privilege of working with some of the greatest talent I've ever been in contact with, many of whom didn't have any particular political stance, and might not have usually been activists. I was one of those, given the great responsibility of capturing a message I had not been close to until then. I felt this gave me some perspective on the issues, the slogans, the fellowship that developed in Montreal that great summer of 2012. I would be lying if I told you I didn't get caught by the wave that took us over then. Something awoke in me that day, perhaps the idea that caring is easier when we are together, when we are many. It was a summer of possibilities, and while only two years have passed, history has already repeated itself twice over. How does 22 avril 2012, and the rest of that summer resonate now? Un citoyen du Québec sur trente-deux était de la grande marche orchestrée par Dominic Champagne le 22 avril 2012, au nom d'une cause qui nous rejoint tous: le bien commun. It's me, playing the kalimba, the mountain dulcimer, and various other stuff, while giving snappy answers to the questions on the IMA questionnaire. This video was shot in glorious Standard Definitions and is full of wonderful pseudo-artsy jump cuts. The fantastic lighting effects were achieved by turning on the lamp and wall light in my studio. Ce film d'une vingtaine de minutes raconte l'histoire d'un commencement. 250 000 Québécois se sont rencontrés il y a de cela 2 ans aujourd'hui. Un citoyen du Québec sur trente-deux était de la grande marche orchestrée par Dominic Champagne le 22 avril 2012, au nom d'une cause qui nous rejoint tous: le bien commun. Dominic m'a demandé de capturer l'image qui définirait notre printemps érable, nous offrant le beau symbole d'un arbre.
Plus de 200 volontaires ont participé en son, en image, en partageant leur journée, leurs contacts, leurs équipements, leurs musique, leurs temps, leurs créativité, et leur bonne volonté. I had the immense pleasure and privilege of working with some of the greatest talent I've ever been in contact with, many of whom didn't have any particular political stance, and might not have usually been activists. I was one of those, given the great responsibility of capturing a message I had not been close to until then. I felt this gave me some perspective on the issues, the slogans, the fellowship that developed in Montreal that great summer of 2012. I would be lying if I told you I didn't get caught by the wave that took us over then. Something awoke in me that day, perhaps the idea that caring is easier when we are together, when we are many.
It was a summer of possibilities, and while only two years have passed, history has already repeated itself twice over. How does 22 avril 2012, and the rest of that summer resonate now? What do we see, objectively, if not pure brotherly love?

Ou du moins, pas encore. Loin d’en concevoir de l’amertume, elle en rigole et s’en est même inspirée pour écrire son premier spectacle humoristique Chus pas connue (encore) ,
présenté à Montréal l’automne dernier.
La résidente du Plateau-Mont-Royal, qui gagne à être connue,
compte reprendre son show d’ici le début de l’été … Rencontre.
Francine Lareau a gradué du Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal en 1982.
Peu de temps après, elle décrochait le rôle de Suzanne Dufour dans un téléroman culte des années 80 : Épopée rock. Dans les années 1980-1990, elle apparaît dans d’autres feuilletons québécois tels que Terre Humaine,
Bouscotte, 4 et demi ou Scoop.
Mais la coquine tranchante – c’est ainsi qu’elle se qualifie – s’ennuie de la scène et ressent une dangereuse envie de plonger dans l’arène de l’humour.
« J’ai toujours voulu faire de l’humour. C’est ma force, je suis douée pour le bonheur ! »,
lance celle qui, il y a plusieurs années.

My song, "The Open Door," is nominated for a 2013 Independent Music Award, and this is the Q&A; video I made to encourage people to vote for me. It's me, playing the kalimba, the mountain dulcimer, and various other stuff, while giving snappy answers to the questions on the IMA questionnaire. This video was shot in glorious Standard Definitions and is full of wonderful pseudo-artsy jump cuts. The fantastic lighting effects were achieved by turning on the lamp and wall light in my studio. No musical instruments were harmed in the making of this video.
But seriously, nominated songs will be judged by a panel of artists including Suzanne Vega, Tom Waits, Jonatha Brooke, Ziggy Marley, Judy Collins, Meshell Ndegeocello, McCoy Tyner, "Weird Al" Yankovic (!) and many others. In addition to this illustrious group, YOU can vote for "The Open Door" -

"Insurrections..." réunit Clyde Chabot, auteur et metteur en scène française, et André-Éric Létourneau, artiste interdisciplinaire et compositeur québécois ainsi que des acteurs, musiciens et performeurs des deux pays.
Au départ, il y a la rencontre entre deux artistes français et québécois, le besoin d'interroger et mettre en jeu l'engagement et les modalités d'action politique aujourd'hui.
La création s'appuie sur des textes politiques contemporains notamment : L'Insurrection qui vient du Comité Invisible et le Manifeste des Pussy Riots. L'objectif n'est pas de faire le bilan critique de l'activité ou inactivité politique de chacun mais d'accueillir les paroles de figures héroïques contemporaines et de reconnaître ce qui, au-delà du raisonnable, nous pousse à agir dans nos métiers, nos vies, à déplacer les frontières de l'inacceptable, du possible, ou du désir.
Le projet artistique "dédoublé" relie par skype en simultané un spectacle à Paris et une emission de radio à Montréal. Il s'adresse donc à deux publics : les auditeurs de la radio au Québec et les spectateurs de La Loge.
La mise en scène confronte ainsi deux continents, deux disciplines artistiques, le politique et l'intime, le média et la présence, le réel et la fiction.

Ce film d'une vingtaine de minutes raconte l'histoire d'un commencement. 250 000 Québécois se sont rencontrés il y a de cela 2 ans aujourd'hui. Un citoyen du Québec sur trente-deux était de la grande marche orchestrée par Dominic Champagne le 22 avril 2012, au nom d'une cause qui nous rejoint tous: le bien commun. Dominic m'a demandé de capturer l'image qui définirait notre printemps érable, nous offrant le beau symbole d'un arbre. It's me, playing the kalimba, the mountain dulcimer, and various other stuff, while giving snappy answers to the questions on the IMA questionnaire. This video was shot in glorious Standard Definitions and is full of wonderful pseudo-artsy jump cuts. The fantastic lighting effects were achieved by turning on the lamp and wall light in my studio. Ce film d'une vingtaine de minutes raconte l'histoire d'un commencement. 250 000 Québécois se sont rencontrés il y a de cela 2 ans aujourd'hui. Un citoyen du Québec sur trente-deux était de la grande marche orchestrée par Dominic Champagne le 22 avril 2012, au nom d'une cause qui nous rejoint tous: le bien commun. Dominic m'a demandé de capturer l'image qui définirait notre printemps érable, nous offrant le beau symbole d'un arbre.
Plus de 200 volontaires ont participé en son, en image, en partageant leur journée, leurs contacts, leurs équipements, leurs musique, leurs temps, leurs créativité, et leur bonne volonté. I had the immense pleasure and privilege of working with some of the greatest talent I've ever been in contact with, many of whom didn't have any particular political stance, and might not have usually been activists. I was one of those, given the great responsibility of capturing a message I had not been close to until then. I felt this gave me some perspective on the issues, the slogans, the fellowship that developed in Montreal that great summer of 2012. I would be lying if I told you I didn't get caught by the wave that took us over then. Something awoke in me that day, perhaps the idea that caring is easier when we are together, when we are many.
It was a summer of possibilities, and while only two years have passed, history has already repeated itself twice over. How does 22 avril 2012, and the rest of that summer resonate now? What do we see, objectively, if not pure brotherly love?

Ou du moins, pas encore. Loin d’en concevoir de l’amertume, elle en rigole et s’en est même inspirée pour écrire son premier spectacle humoristique Chus pas connue (encore) ,
présenté à Montréal l’automne dernier.
La résidente du Plateau-Mont-Royal, qui gagne à être connue,
compte reprendre son show d’ici le début de l’été … Rencontre.
Francine Lareau a gradué du Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal en 1982.
Peu de temps après, elle décrochait le rôle de Suzanne Dufour dans un téléroman culte des années 80 : Épopée rock. Dans les années 1980-1990, elle apparaît dans d’autres feuilletons québécois tels que Terre Humaine,
Bouscotte, 4 et demi ou Scoop.
Mais la coquine tranchante – c’est ainsi qu’elle se qualifie – s’ennuie de la scène et ressent une dangereuse envie de plonger dans l’arène de l’humour.
« J’ai toujours voulu faire de l’humour. C’est ma force, je suis douée pour le bonheur ! »,
lance celle qui, il y a plusieurs années.

My song, "The Open Door," is nominated for a 2013 Independent Music Award, and this is the Q&A; video I made to encourage people to vote for me. It's me, playing the kalimba, the mountain dulcimer, and various other stuff, while giving snappy answers to the questions on the IMA questionnaire. This video was shot in glorious Standard Definitions and is full of wonderful pseudo-artsy jump cuts. The fantastic lighting effects were achieved by turning on the lamp and wall light in my studio. No musical instruments were harmed in the making of this video.
But seriously, nominated songs will be judged by a panel of artists including Suzanne Vega, Tom Waits, Jonatha Brooke, Ziggy Marley, Judy Collins, Meshell Ndegeocello, McCoy Tyner, "Weird Al" Yankovic (!) and many others. In addition to this illustrious group, YOU can vote for "The Open Door" -

"Insurrections..." réunit Clyde Chabot, auteur et metteur en scène française, et André-Éric Létourneau, artiste interdisciplinaire et compositeur québécois ainsi que des acteurs, musiciens et performeurs des deux pays.
Au départ, il y a la rencontre entre deux artistes français et québécois, le besoin d'interroger et mettre en jeu l'engagement et les modalités d'action politique aujourd'hui.
La création s'appuie sur des textes politiques contemporains notamment : L'Insurrection qui vient du Comité Invisible et le Manifeste des Pussy Riots. L'objectif n'est pas de faire le bilan critique de l'activité ou inactivité politique de chacun mais d'accueillir les paroles de figures héroïques contemporaines et de reconnaître ce qui, au-delà du raisonnable, nous pousse à agir dans nos métiers, nos vies, à déplacer les frontières de l'inacceptable, du possible, ou du désir.
Le projet artistique "dédoublé" relie par skype en simultané un spectacle à Paris et une emission de radio à Montréal. Il s'adresse donc à deux publics : les auditeurs de la radio au Québec et les spectateurs de La Loge.
La mise en scène confronte ainsi deux continents, deux disciplines artistiques, le politique et l'intime, le média et la présence, le réel et la fiction.

Set in the Rexdale neighbourhood of Toronto, the film explores the issue of gang violence, & is centered around 20 year-old Jedi who lives in Doomstown & learns to do the right thing through tragedy. It was written and directed by Sudz Sutherland. The cast includes K.C.
