There are number of varied and exciting events taking place around all three of

Our work places us at the centre of the cultural and economic
life of Essex. We make a contribution to the communities around our
Colchester, Southend and Loughton campuses by offering educational
opportunities, services, events and business support.
Our research addresses many of the challenges
facing society and our academics are involved in projects directly relating
to issues in Essex and the eastern region.
We make sure our students are developing the workplace skills which
employers are looking for. This means businesses value the skills of our
graduates.
We are a major employer and business in Essex – with a turnover of more
than £155 million and a workforce of over 2,000.

Sports facilities
Our sports facilities are open to the general public. At our Colchester Campus we have both outdoor and indoor sports facilities, and at
our Southend Campus, we have a state-of-the-art gym.
