The Remains (often referred to, incorrectly, as "Barry and the Remains") were a mid-1960s rock group from Boston, Massachusetts, led by Barry Tashian, who was later a vocalist and guitarist for Gram Parsons, the Flying Burrito Brothers, and Emmylou Harris, and part of the duo Barry and Holly Tashian. Although the Remains never achieved national success, they were very popular in New England, and were one of the opening acts on The Beatles' final US tour in 1966.
The Remains broke up in 1966, but their music eventually attracted a strong international cult following. They began performing and recording again in the late 1990s, and have continued to play regularly since then.
The Remains formed in 1964 at Boston University, where all four members were first-year students living in the same dorm in Kenmore Square. Singer-guitarist Barry Tashian and keyboardist Bill Briggs were from Westport, Connecticut, drummer Chip Damiani from Wolcott, Connecticut, and bassist Vern Miller from Livingston, New Jersey. They began playing r&b and rock'n'roll covers, as well as some Tashian originals, at The Rathskeller, a tavern across the square from their dorm. Soon, fans were lining up from Kenmore Square to Fenway Park to see them, and management had to clear out a disused basement to accommodate the crowds.

In 2010, Hahn had a small role in the Nickelodeon show iCarly as a young girl that Gibby scares. She also was seen in The Closer as Cody Tatem, a girl whose mother, a drug addict, possible committed suicide, and father is dying. Remains may refer to:
A film, also called a movie, motion picture or photoplay, is a series of still images which, when shown on a screen, creates the illusion of moving images due to the phi phenomenon. This optical illusion causes the audience to perceive continuous motion between separate objects viewed rapidly in succession. A film is created by photographing actual scenes with a motion picture camera; by photographing drawings or miniature models using traditional animation techniques; by means of CGI and computer animation; or by a combination of some or all of these techniques and other visual effects. The word "cinema", short for cinematography, is often used to refer to the industry of films and filmmaking or to the art of filmmaking itself. The contemporary definition of cinema is the art of simulating experiences to communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty or atmosphere by the means of recorded or programmed moving images along with other sensory stimulations.
The process of filmmaking is both an art and an industry.
The Remaining is a 2014 American apocalyptic horror film directed by Casey La Scala, who co-wrote the script with Chris Downing. The film had a limited theatrical release on September 5, 2014 and centers upon a group of friends that are forced to examine their lives after the Apocalypse strikes.
Skylar and Dan are happily celebrating their wedding when suddenly the Rapture occurs. Skylar's Christian parents are raptured, leaving their daughter and her new husband behind. She and Dan must find shelter from the new, extreme weather as well as from several winged demons that are keen on making Skylar and Dan their prey. They manage to take shelter in a nearby church along with several others remaining, where they re-examine their lives and personal faith in Jesus Christ, in the wake of remaining on Earth as it enters the seven years of Tribulation. The ending results in the final trumpet being blown from Heaven as thousands upon millions of fallen angels descend to Earth to finish off the human race.

The Remains of the Season is a short film about the Fall and the best foliage colors I was able to capture during the tail end of the season; most of the footage was taken in Georgia during the last four weeks—spending this past week editing the three hours+ I captured, and making it all fit in only a few minutes; I may have enough material for a sequel depending on the box office response, :-) Hope you all enjoy it—I realize there are many videos out there describing the season, some beautifully done, but I hope you can appreciate some of the unique scenes I included and are able to perceive what was simply an attempt to add my personal touch; please leave me your feedback if you like the video. Many thanks for watching and happy Holidays. NOTE: This video (only the video track) i...

Set against the backdrop of an aging population, the film explores what it means to age and die with dignity. Seniors, their families, and experts in the field -- including those who work day-to-day with seniors -- talk about the services and supports that are needed, where we are failing, and their hopes for a stronger and more dignified approach to caring for the elderly. Find out more: http://www.policyalternatives.ca/bcseniors The film is presented by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and the Hospital Employees' Union. I just love Garage Rock! These bands would have been huge in the U.K. if travel had been easier back then. And those pesky unions were not sticking their oar in!
The Remains Live at The Rock Cafe - 3/27/10
The Remains live in Marmande (France), performing "Don't Look Back". The Remains, led by Barry Tashian, are one of the most underrated American bands of the 60's ; they were together only for two years, splitting in 1966 after having done The Beatles' opening during their last tour. The Remains re-unite from time to time ; these are the 4 original members playing here. http://theremains.com If you wanna hear more of this concert, go there : http://rapidshare.de/files/25090858/The_Remains_-_Marmande__France__15.04.2006.rar.html

Sepultura - Beneath The Remains Live Giants of Rock Hameenlinna Finland (07.07.1991) From wiki: Sepultura (Portuguese for "grave")[1] is a Brazilian heavy metal band from Belo Horizonte, formed in 1984. The band was a major force in the death metal, thrash metal and ultimately groove metal realms during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their later experiments melding nu metal, hardcore punk and industrial. # Max Cavalera -- lead vocals, rhythm guitar (1985--1997), lead guitar (1984--1985) # Igor Cavalera -- drums, percussion (1984--2006) # Paulo Jr. -- bass (1984--present), backing vocals (2011--present) # Andreas Kisser -- lead guitar, backing vocals (1987--present)
Sepultura was formed in 1984 in Belo Horizonte, the capital city of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The band was founded by teen brothers Max and Igor Cavalera, the impoverished sons of Vânia, a model, and Graciliano, a well-to-do Italian diplomat whose fatal heart attack left his family in financial ruin. Graciliano's death deeply affected his sons, inspiring them to form a band after Max heard the album Black Sabbath Vol. 4 the very same day. They chose the band name Sepultura, the Portuguese word for "grave," when Max translated the lyrics of the Motörhead song "Dancing on Your Grave".In early 1987, Jairo Guedes quit the band after losing interest in playing death metal. Jairo was replaced by São Paulo-based guitarist Andreas Kisser, and they released their second studio album, Schizophrenia, in 1...

Just go to sleep and you will feel better.
Just get some rest and you'll be alright.
Don't cry your eyes out, you look pathetic.
Don't cry your eyes out, you'll be alright.
Scratching at the surface skin, damage you can see.
Lying, crying, trying to sleep.
Lying, crying, underneath the blankets and pillows there.
