Quelque 8.000 abonnés Orange et SFR étaient privés dimanche matin de fibre optique après que des câbles enterrés ont été volontairement sectionnés pendant la nuit dans une commune proche de Mantes-la-Jolie (Yvelines), a-t-on appris de source policière. L’alerte a été donnée à 01h30 par l’opérateur Orange qui a décelé une anomalie sur ses réseaux provenant de la petite commune rurale de Buchelay. Le ou les auteurs des faits ont sectionné des câbles en passant par un regard (plaque d’égout) sous une chaussée, selon les premiers éléments de l’enquête. Mais aucun vol de câble n’a été décelé à ce stade. Neuf communes au total sont touchées par la coupure de fibre. Le commissariat de Mantes-la-Jolie est chargée de l’enquête.
