In October, women across Australia will accept the challenge to wear a dress for 31 days to raise money for ovarian cancer research.
Frocktober began in 2007 and has raised more than $1.5 million for ovarian cancer research. To help with the 31-day frock challenge, the organisers have drawn up a theme-a-day chart.
If you want to kick off your Frocktober challenge with one of the dress trends of the season, you can't go past a ruffled frock.

Who's doing it ... and how to work it
Take a bow, Jane Fonda. Her Golden Globes dress proves that age is no barrier to staying on trend. Her ruffled bodice was a perfect choice – a full skirt would have looked too fussy.
Designer Rebecca Vallance agrees less is more when it comes to the ruffle.
"To balance your look when wearing something voluminous, always opt for clean lines. A structured jacket can offset the free flowing ruffle and add contrast to the outfit. Depending on the occasion, a white sneaker, boots or platforms will keep you looking effortlessly cool, while a chic strappy heel will elevate the outfit for a more formal occasion."
Speaking of formal, ruffles were a big trend on the Emmys red carpet earlier this month, with Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery making the best-dressed lists for her Oscar de la Renta fluted ruffle gown.
