A Coorparoo man has been caught allegedly speeding, while using his mobile phone and driving over the legal blood alcohol limit.
That's three of the "fatal five" mostly likely causes of death on the roads as featured in road safety campaigns - the other two being driving under the influence of drugs and driving while tired.
The 21-year-old was pulled over just after 8am on Sunday for speeding on the Cunningham Highway at Maryvale.
Police say he was also using his mobile phone at the time.
When the officer breathalysed him, he returned a positive result and was taken to Warwick where he returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.062 per cent - 0.012 per cent over the legal limit.
The man received two traffic infringements, one for speeding and another for using his phone, he will also face Warwick Magistrates Court in November on the drink driving charge.
