"Young Parisians" was the debut single from Adam and the Ants, released by Decca Records on 20 October 1978. The A-side "Young Parisians" was an acoustic jazz ballad, while the B-side, "Lady" demonstrated the band's capacity for fast-paced punk rock.
At the time, the band were combining the punk sound of their earliest days with a more experimental ethos which would characterize their 1979 debut Dirk Wears White Sox and, to some extent, its 1980 follow-up Kings of the Wild Frontier (by which time only Adam Ant remained from the line-up of the debut single).
In December 1980, following the initial success of Kings of the Wild Frontier and its singles "Dog Eat Dog" and 'Antmusic', the single was re-promoted in the UK, reaching #9 on the UK Singles Chart. In Australia, DJs on Sydney's Double J radio station preferred to play the B-side, "Lady", which garnered enough attention for "Lady" rather than the A-Side to appear on the 1980 compilation album In the Bag.
It was produced by the band's singer Adam Ant and session pianist Jo Julian. At this point, the other permanent members of the band were Matthew Ashman (guitar), Dave Barbarossa (drums) and Andy Warren (bass guitar). Saxophonist Greg Mason also appeared on the A-side.

Adam Ant (born Stuart Leslie Goddard; 3 November 1954) is an English singer and musician. He gained popularity as the lead singer of post-punk group Adam and the Ants and later as a solo artist, scoring 10 UK top ten hits from 1980 to 1983, including three No. 1s. He has also worked as an actor, appearing in over two dozen films and television episodes from 1985 to 2003.
Since 2010, Ant has undertaken an intensive reactivation of his musical career, performing live regularly in his hometown of London and beyond, recording and releasing a new album and with three full-length UK national tours, two US national tours and a short Australian tour all now completed.
Stuart Goddard was born an only child, in Marylebone, London. Concern for oppressed minorities—one of the themes he used in his later work—was part of his heritage; he is of partial Romani descent. His maternal grandfather, Walter Albany Smith, was Romanichal. Home was two rooms in De Walden buildings, St John's Wood. He recalls: "There was no luxury, but there was always food on the table." His father, Leslie Goddard, had served in the Royal Air Force and worked as a chauffeur and his mother, Betty Kathleen Smith, was an embroiderer for Norman Hartnell.
The Rules: Time-tested Secrets for Capturing the Heart of Mr. Right is a self-help book by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider, originally published in 1995.
The book suggests rules that a woman should follow in order to attract and marry the man of her dreams; these rules include that a woman should be "easy to be with but hard to get". The underlying philosophy of The Rules is that women should not aggressively pursue men, but rather ought to get the men to pursue them. A woman who follows The Rules is called a Rules Girl.
The book generated much discussion upon its release. Some audiences considered it useful and motivational, while others felt that it was outdated, anti men and antifeminist, or a how-to guide that teaches women to play games that toy with men. Psychology lecturer and therapist Dr Meg John Barker claims that the emergence of seduction communities happened "almost as a direct response to this hard-to-get femininity". Others noted that Fein was an accountant and Schneider a freelance journalist without professional qualification in the subject matter. Fein married and divorced, and has recently remarried. Schneider has never married. The authors admitted they were not professionals in an appearance on NBC's The Today Show.

I think most of those people who know this track associate it with Solarstone's anthem remix. Nevertheless, the original itself is also great. Young Parisians are so French
They love Patty Smith
Young Parisians are so French
At the Champs-Elysees
I wanna go to Paris with you
Just to see what the French boys do
Why don't you come to Paris with me
And see the young Parisians?
Young Parisians are so French
They sit on the metro
Young Parisians are so French
Not like me and you
I wanna go to Paris with you
Just to see what the French boys do
Why don't you come to Paris with me?
And see the young Parisians
I wanna go to Paris with you
Just to see what the French boys do to you
Why don't you come to Paris with me
And see the young Parisians?
Young Parisians are so French
They?re always called Du Bois
Young Parisians are so French
Talk nothing but French
I wanna go to Paris with you
Just to see what the French boys do
Why don't you come to Paris with me
And see the young Parisians?
They're so French
They're so French
They're so French
