Jhelum ( /ˈdʒeɪləm/) (Urdu, Punjabi: جہلم) (Greek: Alexandria Bucephalous) is a city on the right bank of the Jhelum River, in the district of the same name in the north of Punjab province, Pakistan. Jhelum is known for providing a large number of soldiers to the British and later to the Pakistan armed forces due to which it is also known as city of soldiers or land of martyrs and warriors. Jhelum is a few miles upstream from the site of the Battle of the Hydaspes between the armies of Alexander the Great and Raja Porus. A city called Bucephala was founded nearby to commemorate the death of Alexander's horse, Sarosh. Other notable sites nearby include the 16th century Rohtas Fort, the Tilla Jogian complex of ancient temples, and the 16th-century Grand Trunk Road which passes through the city. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, the population of Jhelum was 145,647 and in 2010 its population is 174,679. The name of the city is derived from the words Jal (pure water) and Ham (snow), as the river that flows through the river originates in the Himalayas. There are a number of industries in and around Jhelum city, including a tobacco factory, wood, marble, glass and flour mills.
Uh yeah... Uh yeah...
I'd go the distance even though you seem so far
Days of confusion just tell me who you are
I sit alone at night
When I could be with you
And it could be so right Baby it's up to you
You know it's true yeah
Uh yeah... Uh yeah...
Do you remember the scent of my perfume
Illuminating your love against the moon
I see it clearly now
I'm caught in a landslide
And there's just one way out
There's nothing I can do
You know it's true
Whenever you're near me
When ever you call
My heart beats a message
The writing's on the wall
And if God still makes angels
Than that says it all
Cause whenever you're near me hey hey
No matter where you are
The distance is no (obstacle I'm landing to you)
No matter who you are
Say you're my only (devotion)
You're falling from the stars
You're my only (constellation)
You read my soul
The book is my heart
And it leads to a stand
Where your body's the start
Uh yeah... Uh yeah...
You read my heart
You read my soul
Whenever you call
Whenever you're near me
You read my heart
You read my soul
Whenever you call
