           After all the Food Not Bombs, Film Screenings and lots of troubles and activities we have decided to launch our first newsletter which will be distributed around the community of Granview Heights Subdivision. There will be new projects and activities to come like; Art workshops, library hours, urban gardening & solar power energy workshop. More new films, video and documentary also to be shown.

The Pedicab House: Nomadology 1.0

I met this man with his 1 child, wife, a pet dog and puppies on my way to the jeepney terminal in Pacol Naga City. He had his mobile house, a pedicab converted into a small house with lots of things and a sleeping space inside. I ask him where he came from, he told me he came from Tabuco, one of barangays in Naga City that had a lot of informal settlers.

Greenhouse Infoshop Project space was formally established in 2013. We started with lack of financial resources, from scratch we slowly gain momentum with the help of friends from the other side of the world.

Presently, we are collecting reading materials for our library, started a community gardening project here at Grandview Heights Subdivision. The original plan was to plant to a vacant lot of land near the basketball court of GHS, at first, the discussion of the gardening project to some homeowners are good, but they changed their decision and disregard the gardening project. For the gardening project to push forward, our alternative plan is to transform the neighborhood gutters to a vegetable garden with consent and agreement. We are looking forward for our projects in our community, we are also encouraging everyone to start their project in their local communities and neighborhood. We are also accepting donations such as: (Radical books, magazines, gardening books, organic seeds.)

What is Earth Lab?

It is an ecological design project initiated by Greenhouse Infoshop, the project will focus on gardening designs, container gardening, sustainable community food gardening, ecological installation, solar power and other experimental and radical ideas promoting ecology, play, resistance, sustainability, friendship and solidarity.
