Dave Warner’s novel Before It Breaks has been shortlisted for a Ned Kelly award for best fiction. The Neddies as they are known are run by the Australian Crime Writers Association and will be held in Melbourne Sun Aug 28.
The awards are being held at 4pm at the Toff In Town on Swanston Street. Dave will be attending. Admission is free. For more info visit the Australian Crime Writers Association website.
well congratulations on winning the Ned kelly award, I really hope that a movie is made of it as it does have, movie, movie, movie written (sic) all over it.
also looking forward to new suburbs cd, but really ‘good on you ‘ for winning the award – ha! – did notice the dedication to Nicole-‘shelter from the storm’ not only apt for the title but the unseen support to the man behind the word processor – right?
