A teenager has been charged with assaulting police after officers had bottles thrown at them and were threatened as they tried to break up an out-of-control party in north-eastern Queensland.
A 29-year-old constable was treated at Townsville Hospital for a serious wrist injury inflicted when dozens of police responded to the gathering of about 100 people at a Condon property about 2am on Saturday.
A police vehicle also received minor damage.
An 18-year-old Kelso man was charged with assaulting police and public nuisance.
A 33-year-old Vincent woman and 22-year-old Stuart man were assisting police with their inquiries.
